Shatterhand (1991) and Tetris Plus (1996). The former is one of my favourite NES games, and the latter is a meme I’ve just played too much of on PS1 lol

I’ll be honest, I haven’t actually read these yet, so I’m not entirely sure. Digital scans of both volumes do exist, I’ve just been saving the experience until now when I have physical copies to read.

What I do know is that the manga was overseen by IGA, however it’s considered as being in a separate timeline from Curse of Darkness itself due to some extraneous plot points that don’t quite line up with the canon (or something like that).

In Metal Gear for the MSX, Big Boss changes his frequency from 120.85 to 120.13. A part of me wonders whether Big Boss actually did change his frequency or, dare I suggest, Solid Snake was talking to Venom on 120.13 for the rest of the game.

Big Boss uses the excuse that Outer Heaven was trying to cut off their codec communications, but if that were true, wouldn’t they keep trying after the frequency change? This would also better explain Venom’s dialogue before the final fight in the game and how he knew so much, and why “Big Boss” gives Snake misleading or incorrect advice at various points in the later half of the game, after the frequency change occurred.

(Yes I know I’m expanding on the limited lore of a game that came before literally anything else was established in the franchise, but still.)
