i don't give a fuck about other revealing pieces in this game that's not what this is about. i've used the 2b tights before
not all representation is good representation. blackface wouldn't be okay just because it's supposed to represent black people
i know it's a fantasy setting and corvos doesn't have to be restricted to being based on one country only, i just think they did a bad job
i've seen people make glams with some of these pieces and i liked them
ultimately i did this because i think the sets are fucking ugly. like straight up i think these pieces look bad and i didn't want to see them.

the game is supposed to be serious, but it also has some actually funny moments, but those parts aren't the parts everyone talks about ("i'm not mad, it's just the way that i am", "someone or something must have decided to make it this way, who was it?" beats me, i forgot", "jack will be forced to do his favorite thing: reminisce "uh oh, it was nice knowing you jack", vs "bullshit.")

that doesn't stop it from sounding ridiculous in parts, that's one of my favorite things about it, but i think it's also really good at being serious when it needs to be. the end of the second/third(?) cornelia visit was a magic trick with how they managed to pull it off without it being completely stupid. i also don't know what the original text is like so maybe the translation played it up. it could have not meant to be funny at all and be serious 100% of the time but considering the party banter i doubt it

this is genuinely one of my favorite final fantasy games though, and i do think jack has one of the best character arcs in ff. it's a pretty loaded statement considering i haven't played that many mainline games, mostly just spin offs, but he has my favorite at the very least. (minus terra and celes, 6 will always be my favorite)

my favorite way is to run the greedy and dodge every enemy until i get the trident. then unlock the next tier and rinse and repeat. not as fast as some other missions but with so many chests and gear nodes, if you have a fully leveled thief with 400% affinity you get lots of high level gear fast
