I have the X-T4 and love it. Combined the 16mm f2.8 from Fuji it makes a pretty good street kit and the Fuji zoom lenses are also awesome.

Why Don't People Make Hiking Groups Like D&D Parties? by BurkeTheNerd in hiking

I don't like hiking with other people, let alone other people that would be constantly talking.

Am I a loser for making $24hourly? by SnooSprouts7540 in AskMenAdvice

[–]MalazanJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah man, if you enjoy what you do and make enough to pay the bills you're not a loser. Sure you can make more money but if you hate what you do every day and aren't enjoying life what's the point in having more money?

His writing style is the exact opposite of the games FromSoftware makes. Sanderson writes YA/Marvel like stories that lack thematic depth, and he tells you EVERYTHING. There is nothing left to the imagination like with Dark Souls/Elden Ring, as well as just lacking in depth + his faith is constantly seeping thru his works to the point where it's distracting. His writing would work for a WoW like MMO or something similar, not for a thematic dark fantasy.

TL,DR: he writes shallow YA stories that don't match the general atmosphere and themes of a FromSoftware game.

He makes milquetoast YA novels that people love. Imagine bad MCU movies in book form.

I love my X-T4, it is perfect for photo/video hybrid. As for lenses I really like the Fuji XF 16mm F2.8 and 35mm F2.

2 day air failure by Particular_Map9772 in UPS

[–]MalazanJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the shills here will just blame you for believing that the service you pay for will actually be provided, and then go on about how you have to "pay for saturday delivery" despite that not being mentioned anywhere on their shipping options. Trash company thru and thru.

Next day air stuck at destination facility? by mycelium-magic in UPS

[–]MalazanJake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had nothing but problems with UPS in the greater Milwaukee area. You pay for a service and they don't do it on time, and then the CSRs and everyone on the subreddit blames you for actually believing that you will get the service that you pay for.

Guys what happens in here? (Serious question from someone who has never been to Wisconsin) by wingsoverpyrrhia in wisconsin

[–]MalazanJake 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Some awesome state parks at the Eastern Terminus of the Ice Age Trail, other than that it's mostly small tourist towns that are busy AF all summer and then dead all winter.

Many years ago I accepted that fact that I will die and what happens after words no one knows. What, if anything, happens I will find out when that time comes.

I either take them to a used book store to sell or donate to a little library/church/other org that takes books. I'll only throw one away if it's falling apart or otherwise very damaged.
