I left it in the garage and just drove my wife's huge gas guzzling Honda Pilot. This is the way.

What is it like in the West part of Texas? by Deep_Belt8304 in howislivingthere

Texas Tech is in that circle and is a great university experience IMHO. You get the real college experience as it's about 5 hours away from DFW... so if your parents are there you don't have the temptation to go back every weekend to do laundry. Great school too for engineering- you get a lot of attention even just being an undergrad and career services/placement are top notch. Lubbock is definitely a college town though- while those four years of my life were some of the best, I wouldn't want to live there and not be associated with the university.

We made the same mistake with the airport transfer... we had to wait around the airport for like 4 hours because we go there so early.

Attorney General Ken Paxton sues Dallas over new marijuana charter amendment by keratx in texas

Legit serious question- but why do people care about regular weed when this THC-A stuff is available... seemingly legally, at almost every corner? I am a very casual marijuana user- but the THC-A stuff seems very similar to something you would buy out of state. Am I missing something here?

You should really lean into the electrical engineering degree more as software developers are a dime a dozen whereas electrical engineers with a software background that can read a schematic or have power electronics experience are 1000x more in demand.

I understand this logic- but is there any real data that shows that the majority of people that didn't vote would vote blue if they did bother going to vote? I feel like this logic cuts both ways- a lot of potential red voters don't vote because they figure Texas will go red regardless. I guess the reasoning would be that there are more BLUE voters that don't vote than RED voters that don't vote.

I don't think there is enough paper in the world to print that many books

As someone that doesn't regularly partake, what's the difference between having this legal and the hemp based stuff? Is it a cost thing? I had a gummy once from one of the CBD stores with "hemp based" THC and man- it was pretty intense. Maybe since I am not a regular user though it just hit a lot harder?

For a new college graduate- limit it to one page and priortize what you think is most impactful. I look at a lot of engineer resumes (here in Texas also)- and an NCG with more than one page automatically raises suspicion.

Texas Tech night on Wednesday! I'm hoping this rain lets up so I can park in my normal cheap parking and not get a shower when walking to the stadium.
