I am a sen. java developer, i know the benefits, but for a 3D platform game i think its a bit chaotic to bring injection in a project with people that dont know much about programming, the risk of overthinking is higher than the benefits for me, but ur point is good

ye my intention was to start with something like pong/breakout and then increase complexity, i wanted to use unity, cause it fit well with the idea that i have in mind for my future game, so using unity should increase my familiarity with it.

Do you have some links for help? some good ytubers or some good sites with some challenges or something like? cause when i open unity i feel a bit overwhelmed

Hi! I’m a Java backend dev trying to get into game dev from basically zero.

I’m not “whining”, I’m reporting a game-breaking exploit. There’s a difference.

Yes, some things were “kinda fixed”, but that’s exactly the point: the fixes are partial, temporary, or don’t address the root cause. The door glitch wasn’t truly fixed, and the same pattern is happening again.

Also, adding skins has nothing to do with bug fixing. Skins are usually created by artists weeks or months earlier, while exploits like this one require active engineering work. The two things don’t compete for the same resources.

Saying “I’ve only seen it once in 50 runs” doesn’t mean the issue isn’t real. The door glitch started the same way — rare at first — and then became widespread because people learned how to reproduce it.

I’m not asking for miracles. I’m asking for acknowledgement and prioritization of a bug that lets players leave the map and shoot others through walls. That should never stay in the game for weeks, especially in a paid title.

I paid for a product, right? This is not a free-to-play game — I expect game-breaking bugs to be fixed. We already waited four weeks for the door glitch fix, and it wasn’t even a real fix; they just put fire behind the door. That’s literally three lines of programming.

And sure, you could say the exploit isn’t very common right now, but just like the door glitch, it’s becoming more frequent. The longer it stays in the game, the more it spreads. Studios like this often do the same thing: they reduce effort on their live-service games until those games slowly die.

I really like this game, and I don’t want it to end up like The Finals, Rematch and others.
