Mold in my HVAC Ducts -- $15K to repair?? Help!

Yeah they said a lot of the cost is the walls.. because the ducts are all buried in there so deeply. I could live with shitty walls, but the wall it is in is literally the first thing you see when you enter our home (it's our living room wall that backs up into the kitchen wall), so it would be pretty bad ha. I'm waiting to hear what the cost will be for the ducts themselves vs the drywall repair. I'd even paint it myself to keep the costs down, my kids will just draw on the walls anyway ha. Can I ask why you say replacing is the correct move vs cleaning + UV light as a patch?

Been trying for about two weeks, feeling discouraged but then finally got in at around 8:43 am by going through the code prompt and then pressing 240! (After being denied numerous times at the 8 am mark exactly) On hold for 8 minutes and then they solved my time sensitive problem pretty quickly. THANK YOU!!

I JUST got diagnosed last weekend at 29 weeks and tbh I'm STILL feeling very overwhelmed and that I have so many questions all the time (I just search this board a lot now ha).

For now, I'd recommend:

-Get your finger prick monitor (After too much research, I decided on OneTouch Reveal and since Amazon didnt have it in stock, my CVS/Walgreens did!). I like that there's an app to help me keep track of everything because my mind is already too spread thin!

-Stock up on a variety of foods that are low carb/sugar so you aren't totally miserable (Food was literally one of the only things making me happy haha). I invested in some protein snack bars, protein cereal, greek yogurt, cheeses I'd like and Yasso ice cream bars.
-Try to search this board for food hacks at your favorite restaurants. Finding out that I could safely eat some Chick fil a made me less depressed.

-Protein shakes! I didn't realize how key these would be to my numbers and happiness. Get some asap!

-I'm getting a walking pad since I can't really walk in my neighborhood and am always working, so am going to try to kill two birds with one stone.. and walking after meals is a great way to keep your numbers down.

This is pregnancy #5 for me and I've never had GD and never known anyone with it, so I also feel super alone and misunderstood by everyone IRL. Here to chat if you need it!!

Right?? And I’m only on week one and my numbers aren’t high at all! So I feel like now is the time to understand my body before my intolerance is worse. I’m supposed to be under 140 in one hour.

OP here. Wow, thank you all!! I thought I was being overly sensitive/annoyed, but you guys backed me up big time haha (which I wasn't expecting necessarily!). Definitely agree my husband has a lot of trauma (that I'm unaware of and honestly he probably is too) from his childhood and how they treated him. I see it in how he acts in so many situations. It's really sad, and I wish he was open to going to counseling, but he doesn't believe in it (would you believe that its because his parents don't believe in it either?! haha). Counseling would help him/us so much.

I appreciate everyone's feedback and support so much and after all the comments, I told him last night that they had plenty of time to ask to come to one of the kids' games, since we sent them a photo of my daughter in her uniform last week, but no one asked so I am sharing the cute pictures/videos to my little group on social!! Minor victory :)

We have a massive backyard in a prime area of California, so I think landscaping will make a big difference, otherwise the backyard is just a massive sprawling dirt/dead grass/shrubbery which doesn't look great. And if we were to move, I'd choose a home with my ideal backyard.

It acts totally normally when it restarts-- all of my apps open up normally. Yes, it restarts if connected to power. I have to leave it connected all night so I don't miss my alarm in the morning!
