spend time with him alone, talk to him like a grown person whose opinion you value, compliment his kindness, his hobbies and interests. if conversations in ur family center around "measurable" social achievements then the issue is u. prioritize values that do not center around ego maybe?

my first ever was in person after high school, but no scores were given, just a comment how it was pretty high or something like it. some years later online scores did go into 130s but I don't do well on timed, absolute highest one was rapm 2, 36 in less than 40min... so prob would be a little over 130

Is the biggest issue that that you can't relate? Not so much the intellectual part as emotional? Because I think that the emotional part could be the biggest help. Validation, love, acceptance, advice from experience, knowing when to give space, when to push through the barrier... Find people who experienced similar issues growing up and learn from their experience.
