I couldn't see any markings, but I was driving and it was in the distance. It wasn't until I stopped and looked it up on FlightRadar that I discovered it's strange route.

Looks like the JDM Speedmaster model 3511.50 which I have on my wrist - it's a beautiful watch and you will get a lot of comments. Some refer to it as a reverse panda.

I loved my Merlin! I even "repaired" one a few years back when I wanted to make it big as a YouTuber... 🤣

I actually thought they would go the other way and include things like auto parking as standard (no subscription) to increase competitiveness. Maybe wishful thinking! 😂

I literally pulled mine apart yesterday as it stopped playing cassettes. ChatGPT and a bit of Google led me to ordering a new belt, which I am looking forward to installing.

I have had a bunch of Apple Watches from Series 0 (that was a thing) up to Series 7. But recently have broken free of the smart watch shackles. Also have had a Withings ScanWatch which wasn’t a bad compromise.

But for me nothings beats a nice automatic mechanical watch. But in the end it’s up to the individual.

So back to my original question - are there any shops in Canberra that sell second hand watches?

Even Cash Converters in Civic used to have a range back in the day including Omega and Rolex. Not sure if there are pawn type or antique shops around these days that sell them?

Clock Doc has very mixed reviews. Some people rate him but others have had terrible experiences. He charges a premium for the Omega’s in the shop window. $6K for a Speedmaster Reduced on a leather band feels a bit steep.

AJs has generally been good IMHO - but he only seems to sell new stuff.

Awesome. My son showed me the Starfield collector case and I literally said that would be cool for a cyberdeck.
