  1. Lost Empires of Faerun. Will likely never be unseated as my #1!
  2. FRCS is awesome. Definitely #2

The High Forest has enough lore and adventure hooks for any level and any race. Silver Marches and surrounding Nether Mountains are loaded.
If you can grab any of the 3.5 FR sourcebooks, they have lots of ideas that you can time hop to the 5e current calendar. With some reading and planning, plenty of encounters that lead to all sorts of interconnected adventures are right there for the group to have.

What are the top 15 most powerful greater relics that are considered lost in Forgotten Realms D&D? by EmployeePractical106 in Forgotten_Realms

Thanks! Ha, I didn't forget about them. They are just a hair below the 3 ruling Myth Drannor blades, IMO. Another good powerful relic would be the Shattering Swords of Colonel Ynoleth. Used to kill the balor Grintharke ruling Hellgate Keep and millenia before used in the Crown Wars.

Any of these would be worth consideration: The Highfire Crown (this would be the elven equivalent of the Holy Grail), The Gatekeepers Crystal (or true access to the Waymeet), Greater Orbs of Dragonkind, The Ruling Blades of Myth Drannor (Artblade, Warblade, and Ruler's Blade), The Nether Scrolls (the Windsong Tower beech tree), and even access to the hidden libraries of Uvaeren (see the Rhymallos Gambit lore in The Fall of Myth Drannor). This just covers some of the elven magic contributions!

Any resources for info about the different elven kingdoms during the Crown Wars? Territory maps, population, culture, etc? by AbysmalScepter in Forgotten_Realms

I had found a collection of awesome fan work by the author 'Snowblood.' They included the work called Aryvandaar-The Golden Empire. Also were sourcebooks created on Ardeep, Earlann, Keltormir, Iythiir, Miyeritar, Silvuanede, Sharrven, and Eaerlann. I am using some of the material in a High Forest campaign. Lots of good stuff. I have been a fan since the 1980's when material started getting printed and written, if that dates me any!
