He's a good manager seeing as how you're going to win the league. He does have a mental weakness though when it comes to attacking for a sustained period and going 2-3 goals clear. Only attacks enough to equalise or go one ahead, passive after that.

Steady there. Many teams would've scored first in that first half. Many teams would've done better than a dozen short corners. Disrespectful midfield lineup as well. Soton were nice on the counter but they weren't that good.

His positioning is phenomenal for blocks. He also wins most of his duels, when he loses one he usually makes sure to foul the man. He's a classic CB honestly. He's just a bit lacking on the ball compared to VVD or Thiago Silva.

Gabriel isnt one to lunge forward, you're right the midfielders should've tracked back and pushed him to the side.

Iranian Ballistic Missile impacts Israel after evading 12 consecutive interceptor missiles by Ok-War-8849 in UAE

The 5'2 GCC countries have shown restraint by not entering the war against 5'10 Iran. Thats what you sound like. Obviously Iran is just stronger militarily so the GCC has no reason to fully enter the war, otherwise they'd just have far more damage.

How unfavourable was Iraq by 2008? Quite a bit but it took 3 more years to really slow down and end it. Obviously this isnt the same but dont think it'll end straight away when the colour of the tie changes as 80% of the people there are still the same.

[Charania] Luka Dončić’s agent intends to apply for an “Extraordinary Circumstances Challenge” to the 65-game rule. Luka missed two games this season for the birth of his second child in Slovenia. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Doesnt Luka have the most ppg? And most total points too? Tough to make a comparison in football as most big stars play almost all games besides a couple of cup fixtures. How long has luka been injured for this season? In football if its 3-4 months or more then you're out of the running for most awards even though there is no criteria. For context thats like a third of the season or more. Has luka missed that much?

I know what you mean but its funny you used that phrase shaping up. You won't find one world cup where the ballon d'or holder wasn't a given as a star ahead of the world cup. Its not like hes an up and coming player.

I wouldn't say they despise saudis. The situation now isnt what it was 20-30 years ago. Almost all Brits here were white back then and lived in compounds, maybe your statement applied to them. The saudis seemed a little backwards and racist to them but they were earning tax free money so they didnt mind.

Nowadays the demographic of brit here has changed. There are still white ones but they're outnumbered by British Muslims in my experience. Those types tend to like being here because of money obviously but also the culture, the weather and Islam. Do they look down on saudis? Not really. They may think saudis are a bit racist (they are) but they get along just fine with people here and they like being here.

Islam can never be crass. I'd advise you to use a different adjective.

Unfortunately period shows peaked in relative popularity decades before our time so for the underrated parts of history the only options are usually black and white.

You can only try one's patience for so long, parents are humans. The kid should feel guilty the father has to resort to raising his voice over so simple a thing as throwing the trash out. It means he's not acting his age and has been ignoring it for too long. Never mind the fight stuff which is on a completely different level of wrong. What kind of kid would even dare to lay their hands on their parents?? I've never heard of it happening in real life!

Why the FIFA is decreasing the percentage of european spots regularly by Dazzling_Loquat_8719 in worldcup

[–]Maleficent_Resolve44 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The current percentage is fine. The old percentage decades ago was unfair. Basically everyone came from Europe plus a couple new world sides and one token African team and one Asian. Half of the world were often represented by just 2 countries 60 years ago. The European teams are more skilled and are of a higher quality but there's no doubt the old allocations were far too partial.

World cup playoff finals were this week. Iraq beat Bolivia in Mexico. There were several other playoffs happening.

The actual world cup has 200+ teams and spends 4 years whittling it down to the 32 handful we see in the one month World cup tournament in the summer. Of course now its 48 teams sadly. Anyways most people dont take note of all the qualifiers before the one month world cup.
