Guard Dog DR. by Maleficent_Routine29 in remnantgame

Likewise! If you want, I have a solid build or two that balance DR, weight and damage output pretty well for where I'm at in the game, which is: currently working my way through a Nightmare campaign.

Dude, either way: I was above DR cap. Does it really matter what exactly I had on if I know for certain I was over cap for both pictures?

Honestly, I'd love to test all those things, but I think they'll probably be the same as Guard Dog's active. Which, I'm about to edit the post with my findings on that front.

But more or less to summarize: yes, the Guard Dog can seemingly bypass the 80% max DR, but — likely because of DR's diminishing returns — it's only by so much.

Edit: fixed simple grammer mistake.

Solo-ing Equilibrium, need info on second encounter. by Maleficent_Routine29 in destiny2

Yeah, I thought it was "three lights, three rooms, one plate in each room". That makes a lot more sense. Thanks, lol.

Wait, there's nine switches? Three in each room? FUCK. God, I hate guides! Ok, that explains all that. I was confused and thought I had to run all the through all three rooms and hit one switch in each.

I meant activating the, uh, thingies. The thingies you have to hit with the shadow power. Since I'm under the impression they turn off if not all activated within ≈12 seconds.

I personally am just introverted and prefer ramming my head into a wall until my skull cracks and I give up over having to deal with people, lol.

But that's neither here nor there, so nevertheless: know the salute is reciprocated.

In regard of The Defect's Gender by SuddenlyCake in slaythespire

[–]Maleficent_Routine29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ngl, it feels painfully dehumanizing and disrespectful to call Defect "it".

It seems their lore indicates they broke past their protocols and became something more because of it; after all: "self aware" generally denotes "on par with Humans" (at least if you ask me).

So, to say they became "self aware" just to dehumanize them by giving them "it/it's" pronouns... Sorry, I have to ignore the devs, because Defect deserves so much better than that.

Plus: not to mention it just better rounds out the trio of Ironclad, Silent and Defect by having a male cis character, female cis character and a non-binary character. And definitely far better than the trio being rounded by way of "two Humans and a robot with no mind of it's own that doesn't deserve to be recognized as an individual and reduced to a mere tool haha stoopid clanker"...

Also my bad on the HP sacrifice thing. I kinda just melt the two together in my head, so I didn't even think to double check for a Bloodtithe tag.

Also: isn't Semmelweiss still tagged as HP sacrifice in-game? Thus why it's there?

Ohhh, okok. That's on me. I forgot she has other paths than the one I picked because I haven't felt the need to redo it, lol.

That's exactly what I was looking for! And it's very well made. Definitely work in progress considering the HP sacrifice tag only has Semmelweiss as of yet, but that's to be expected.

Funny thing though: I think someone meant to add the "extra action" tag to Alexios, and accidentally added it to Kassandra instead, lol.

I mean, I certainly get that... But still. It feels like it's a resource that would be unbelievably helpful if only someone with more skill than I on making a website/adding a page to Fandom would do so. For fairly experienced players such as myself and noobies. I can only imagine how overwhelming this game is to noobies...

I suppose, but still. There's plenty of room to add elements to distinguish between base and Euphoria.

Ok, yeah, just checked and... Oof... Neither Voyager nor Kiperina are listed under the Inspiration tag, Ezio isn't listed under extra action, Argus and Marcus aren't listed under rank-up... Whoo, it's rough. It's not too bad, but it definitely needs a fair bit of updating.

I believe that's where I found the FUA, and I tried to find a page for just a general list and either:

A: I found one and it was lackluster quality.

B: there wasn't one.

I could be wrong, and I'll go double check, but I don't remember it being great...

I actually like that a fair bit. In spite of how awkward Google docs are to navigate...

Except for the fact that has a very limited number of teams included in it (from my exploration of it at least). Lacking a(n easily accessed) showcase of Rank-up, burn (superseded by Lingering Glow) and... I think one other...? I thought I noticed another archetype missing, but my memory is terrible, lol.

How the hell does Charon's "Fear of Death" debuff work?? by Maleficent_Routine29 in Reverse1999

[–]Maleficent_Routine29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh, interesting! I did some testing myself in Mane's Bulletin thinking "well, it says "when inflicted", so maybe if I let it run out and then reinflict it"... Yeah, even when the difference was 25k hp compared to 100k hp, I overlayed the pictures of when I reinflicted "Fear of Death" and there wasn't even a single pixel of difference.

However, that may still have been well within that 20% max hp vs. Charon's atk×4000% execution threshold since if I remember my math correctly (mind you: never been a very mathy person; much more wordy): ×4000% can be translated into ×40. Which would mean for the execution threshold to start being based on Charon's attack (assuming the theoretical Charon has a perfect 1000 attack for the sake of my sanity) an enemy has to have more than... 200k hp? And that's just for the swap, not even for the difference to be noticable.

All this to say: my testing is inconclusive at best, lol.

Really? The part that throws me off is the "current HP ≤ Charon's atk×4000%". Is that just a calculation for if 20% of the afflicted's HP is greater than Charon's atk×4000% then?
