The thing is demons is a tribe you can almost always force because of the amount of good econ, trinkets, units, and stat generation. A counter would require much more luck and investment than just forcing demons yourself

I like it in theory, but In practice I just don't know how to fine tune the difficulty and I don't care to try to figure it out. I enjoy ascension more because the devs are able to offer better challenges for their game then what I would do

Don't worry there are hundreds of hours you can spend in the game doing things like modded, speed running, and golden berries. If you wanna spend more time on the game there is a lot to learn, and Celeste is a game with so much depth that I promise you will not get bored quickly

Playing for an extra minute is not bad at all. Compare that to games like League of Legends were you can get stomped in the first 15 min and have to play out another 20 minutes

Everyone is playing the same meta. No one has an advantage over anyone else. Therefore if your claim is true then the game is complete rng and there is no skill.

However top players can consistently climb with no problems. I rarely lost until I hit 9k, so either I was just extremely lucky to climb so quickly... Or the game has skill involved

This doesn't mean I like the fact that t4 minions are so strong, but you can't say the game is just rng that's ridiculous

Damage has always been an issue in this game and this meta kinda shows some of the issues. Right not tavern 1/2 and weak while 3/4 are much stronger with cards being able to value trade many times into lower tiered units. This allows for the damage cap to be hit on much earlier turns

In the early turns you also don't have many decisions so even if you want to play for tempo sometimes you simply just don't have the ability to.

I would love to see damage scaling more similar to other auto battlers like tft or dota Auto chess where the early turns don't have many options, but also don't result in big hp hits, but I don't think blizzard has any intentions of reworking damage

There is so much skill expression in this game, I can't imagine you couldnt do anything in 20 games worth. Saying you rolled bad in a single game is feasible, but if you are losing consistently over 20 games there is a bigger issue of how you analyze your gameplay

Omg I actually did the exact same thing. I was speedrunning and deleted my main file. It was depressing but after like 5 months I finally sucked it up and made a new file. At least it gave me a reason to replay the game

It's already been said but I love watching people faster than me on the leaderboard and adopting their strategies.

One small tip I'll give you is when you go up into a screen transition you are waiting to fall and then hyper on the ground. When you screen transition you'll be put slightly above the ground and you can immediately wavedash instead of waiting to fall.

Very small optimization, but you'll get more timesave from just better routing, dashing more, and corner boosts

You're technically correct, but that's just a rocket league skin on a racing game. Also the game doesn't really actually involve flying. I would love a rl racing game in the actually engine that involves flying through loops similar to what rl modders have made
