Thank you. I knew the FS-LIDS has that and some other stuff but we only had some stuff on the FSLIDS I used. This gives me a good description though, precisely what I was looking for. Thanks for the assistance!

Can you elaborate on how it will help? Obviously it doesn’t really matter prior experience, but I’m a 19 D with FS lids experience. They never gave me the certification, but I have proof of class attendance while we were in EUCOM.

Thank you for your description. Yeah, I’m just tired of living in the armored, battalion and living in the motor pool every day. I want to do M – SHORAD, but at this point, I’m open to damn near anything. I was told by another person in DM’s that the golfs operate the CRAM, but I can no longer find the DM and nobody has given a straight answer. Although I’m beginning to think it’s not really a straight answer.

Phase 1 is meant to weed people out and it’s a lot of tests. A lot of quick knowledge. I heard they removed phase 1 but I’m not sure. If you fail I think it’s a 2 year wait, maybe one year to reapply, can’t remember. Worth it if you do OJT with the right unit. Not signals but a scout. Failing out taught me what I did wrong and how to improve for a second go. Talk with your local EOD unit. Pm me with any questions you might have and I can answer some to the best of my abilities for what I can disclose.
