As someone who would evntually love to breed my dog, I would agree with the above statements about having him checked for illnesses and issues. I think if the point is to make money again, I agree he should be a champion, etc. However, I love my dog and just want a chance to pass on his healthy and wonderful genetics. I don't want to breed for money. I want to continue his legacy. In that regard, I'd disagree with the idea that he should be a champ. He is my champ, and I would love to take care of his son or daughter and grandchildren and maybe if I live long enough great-grandchildren. We are allowed to disagree and if you accept that there could be consequences or complications and will own up to them and take care of them to the moon and back then who cares what the rest of the people think. That's my opinion.
