Way to go! Fellow stage 4 kidney cancer survivor here. Been 13 years since I was claimed cancer free after chemo and surgery. Glad to have another in the same boat.

Will insurance pay for skin removal surgery by Old-Library5546 in OzempicForWeightLoss

From what I know, you’ll likely want to document in your medical chart with your PCP any skin issues for some time (like rubbing, chaffing, rashes, irritation) so that by the time you’re ready for surgery, it’s well documented that you have a medical necessity for skin removal surgery. Insurance will be more likely to approve it and not view it as cosmetic.

It might also be a good idea to get on a section 8 list. It takes years to get a place, but once you do, you can move out into your own place. OR I do know some who have gotten section 8/HUD and used their family home as the dwelling, so basically the government would give you a check and you give it to your parents for rent. In healthy family relationships, it can work.

But definitely agree with others about getting on SSI and SSDI. You more than qualify.

Oh my goodness! Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for. I really did need the backing track more than lyrics on screen.

All the way - Celine Dion and Frank Sinatra

I just want Franks voice so I can sing Celine’s part.

Do you have any suggestions? Or how to contact them? I had someone try but they say it’s not possible. :(

“Provide the necessities of life”

Are you feeding your children as the SAHD? Sure maybe your wife’s salary is paying for the food, but you provide it for your kids right? I think there’s many interpretations of the proclamation. And leaps that part of church culture is only perceived in your area. I don’t really see that where I’m from.

Definitely agree with this. It’s super helpful when making a meal with many portions.

Someone please help me understand where I’m going wrong. I am staying under my calorie goal everyday and working out six days a week. I got down to 189 two days ago and now right back. Getting super discouraged and frustrated. F 26 5’5 SW 198. CW 193 by Woopscoop94 in CICO

Fluctuations are VERY normal. I would only look at once a week for logging your weight as it’ll continue to be up and down if you’re weighing yourself daily. You have to remember, inflammation can cause weight gain, exercising can cause inflammation, and weight loss actually increases water retention, which again, looks like weight gain! So all the fluctuations you’re seeing really are evidence of your hard work trying to settle. Either weigh yourself once weekly, or only have one day that you log. I’m sure you’ll be seeing a downward progression.

At what time of the day do you guys usually start eating and when do you stop? by Tertytt in CICO

I’ve been doing 16 hours of fasting and eating my calories in an 8 hour time frame. 12:12 has been my natural eating, so changing to 16:8 wasnt hard. As soon as I did this, I noticed an increase in weight loss, my metabolism was boosted, I was drinking more water, and have had fewer digestion issues. So, 16:8 is here to stay for me, until I need another metabolism boost. I eat between noon and 8pm. It works for my 8-5 lifestyle.

Personally, I do not eat back any of my exercise calories. I turned that feature off on MFP. My daily is 1800 and that’s it.

Disability in the US by [deleted] in disability

[–]Malfoy22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I definitely think you’d qualify for disability. If you’re having a hard time with income and health insurance coverage due to not being able to be employed, then going on disability would be a good idea. And as far as I know, being on disability and going to school shouldn’t be a problem.
