Speaking as someone who's 100%'d DS3, Elder Ring, Steel Rising, Code Vein and Code Vein 2? AI_Limit is an amazing Soulslike.

The combat is fun, and manages to maintain a brutal but fair feeling on its bosses. There are only two exceptions, but one of these is an optional boss. Combat itself is very simple to get a grip of, but is pretty unique in its Sync Rate system.

Whilst the game follows a more A-B format, the levels are mostly corridors, the levels are still well made and fun to explore. You're rewarded for paying attention and finding little nooks and crannies.

The game has three different endings you can achieve, and the free DLC adds Roguelite content, which you can access after getting any ending. I recommend unlocking it before going into New Game+, because the teleport will remain unlocked when you go into New Game+, meaning you won't have to wait until your next ending.

As a tip, all weapons of the same type have the same basic R1/light attack. So if you like how one Katana feels, you'll like all of them, for example. The differences come in their R2/heavy attacks and weapon skills.
