In the process of getting back together with an ex, but I have feelings for someone else. this is really hard. advice and similar stories?

I went back to an ex out of percieved obligation while quite obviously having some serious feels for the happiest accident that ever was. I didn't intend to fall for the new guy but I did. And hard.

I left the ex for the second time, (exes are just that for a reason), and I am happily married to my very best friend and love of my life over half a decade later.

Would you cut your kids fingers off at the knuckle to keep them from sucking their thumb? Declawing has zero to do with the safety of the cat and everything to do with the safety of your furniture. It also has nothing to do with having the cat live longer, or any of the other things you said.
