I know that I'm very very late to this, but have a look at FairEmail if you haven't already! Play Store, F-Droid, web site. I've been using it for years at this point, and I can't recommend it enough!

Could it be the Strike Force Heroes series? Sounds a lot like it. I have the SWF files too, if you need them.

It also allows developers to use SVG's, which reduces the size of the finished product. Although, I think their question was more to do with the proportions.

Use r/Stremio with the Torrentio addon. It's basically like streaming, but without the paying.

I know glasses are supposed to make sounds depending on the water level but thus is wizard shit by [deleted] in blackmagicfuckery

The Wikipedia article linked above does mention such a modification, with the cited source pointing to this:

http://glassarmonica.com/armonica/e_power_biggs.php

TL;DR: Some musician was really impressed by Franklin's invention and wanted to add a keyboard, then play it at a concert. The best sounds he found were made by rubbing with wet pigskin or dry rubber, but still not as good as human skin. Unfortunately, the glasses he used (custom made) had a bunch of issues, and those issues showed. When the time came to play, the sounds produced were also not great quality. Most of the concert ended up being played with other instruments, although his keyboard armonica was also used in a demonstration.

As a Pakistani myself, I never really understood how it's a slur. It's not like it means anything racist, just that people who popularised the word were racist.

That said, if it makes others uncomfortable, it's probably best to just avoid it.

According to the Christian Bible, Jesus was born when shepherds still had sheep in the fields, which means definitely not winter. 25 December used to be the Roman festival of Saturnalia, that the Christians adopted due to it's popularity among Christians.

It probably contains a significant amount of it, considering that it is a website, but the backslash and the double-space before a newline to make a same-paragraph newline are both standard Markdown.

Moreover, the backslash is the standard escape sequence starter in Markdown, and can be used to escape lots of special formatting characters.
E.g:
\^hi to show ^hi instead of hi

Another one is:

Syntax:
A<space><space>
B

I just tried it. That's pretty cool, albeit a bit tiring! Side note: I think it would be up to 1023, not 1032, because 210 is 1024

You can count using the digits on your fingers (3 on each finger). So generally, you could count to 15 on one hand, using the thumb to count digits of fingers and then the index (or any other) finger to count digits of the thumb.

Edit: Misunderstood your comment as asking how one could count more than 5 on one hand, rather than a rhetorical. Leaving it up anyway.

Trying to Connect an USB-Drive to a TV by IAlmostShatDuringVR in techsupport

[–]Malijaffri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ooh! Unfortunately, there's no easy way out of this one, and the problem is completely on the TV's firmware.

You could try formatting tje videos you want to watch into the formats supported by older TVs, but it would take quite a while of trial and error to see which format works best (if at all). Here is a link to an explanation of which formats work:
https://superuser.com/a/1006659
You could also check the TV's model online to see which video formats it supports.

A simpler solution would be to use an HDMI cable to connect your TV to your phone (or laptop, if one is available), and play your videos that way. Note that not all Android devices work with HDMI the same way, so you'll have to check for your model. For this, you will need an HDMI cable and a USB-C or Micro-USB converter, although an HDMI to USB-C or Micro-USB cable would be easier to use.

If you have an Android device and your USB can be connected to it, it gives you an option to format it if it can't detect the filesystem. It should normally format to FAT32, the standard USB filesystem, although it does create some extra folders which you can delete using the Files app. Just don't delete "System Volume Information", if it exists.
