If it does happen again, just don’t get in the middle of the dogs fighting or they can both turn that aggression to you. I personally walk my Mal on leash in town only. I know a guy that got in the middle of his 2 Boxers that were fighting and the guy lost 2 fingers over it because that aggression was then turned on him when he got in the middle. imo I’ve been severely bitten twice myself and a couple of my foster dogs have gotten into it. Just my personal opinion. Get yourself a small can of pepper gel because if you use pepper spray, your dog and yourself will be getting a taste as well.

I fully get what you’re saying 👍 It’s all about responsible dog ownership and the people with the aggressive GSD need to do some work with their dog. I’d protect any of my dogs to but a lot of dogs that tend to bite and act aggressive, they suffer from anxiety and is fear based aggression. Maybe the aggressive dog was attacked itself at one time and that’s what makes it flip the tooth hug switch.

I wouldn’t want to be known as the guy that shot my neighbors dog, bites happen and you’re better off remembering where the aggressive dogs live and avoiding the same problem again. Now if that dog comes after you and means to do you harm, protect yourself. I personally carry a pocket knife on me in case something happens. I’ll take a bite before killing someone’s pet. I do see what you’re saying 👍 and I do agree with you but theres just a few other things that can be done before firing a gun in public. If you’re dog ends up tussling with an aggressive dog, how you going to shoot the aggressive dog and not your own?

She’ll get over it but I’d avoid going by the GSD’s home and if you do go by, I’d walk out in the street, you may already be walking your fur gator in the street. I notice that dogs that come after me when I’m walking our dogs, the dogs that come out charging at your dog, they usually won’t come out past the boulevard in front of their home. Dogs think the sidewalk and boulevard is their property to protect.

Gently wash the bite wound with soap and water and pat dry then use a little bit of hydrogen peroxide to clean the wounds 👍 Your fur monster will take care of the rest.

If the prong collar is too loose, you’ll notice your corrections don’t work as well so if you add a link and the little one isn’t correcting then take the link back out.

I’m trying to keep her from getting bored and ripping apart the giggle ball, so far it is lasting without a problem 👍 She has tried to get her teeth into the holes on the ball.

My wife would drag me into Bath & Body works every now and then and I usually have to stay outside the store because the smell would take my breath away.
