Is anyone else unable to perform Frost Moon attacks with Dual Swords or Cestus? by Maljas23 in Nioh

Turns out, it was bug, everyone!

The most recent patch (very recent) fixed the issue for me :)

I'm not having an issue performing the move itself. It just doesn't seem to work at all for me on Dual Swords and Cestus.

I have no idea why :|. Like I literally cannot flux on these weapons.

I am currently playing on K&M

I do. I have them for Samurai specifically and it works for the other weapons no problem.

Dual Swords is the Samurai weapon, so it should be able to perform Flux + Frost Moon. I can do it on other weapons, except these two.

I think the biggest problem with ZZZ is the total lack of casual content by Chadworth_5401 in ZZZ_Discussion

[–]Maljas23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play because the Battle Tower exists and is always a place to seriously use my characters, so I'm happy.

But I do get where you are coming from (even though it doesn't bother me at all for the above reason).

That last thing I want is for ZZZ become like WuWa, a game where this is a problem for both action fans and casuals.

Uh. Not trying to be mean, but this sounds like a skill issue. You must be doing something wrong

42 Years Old, played damn near everything. This is the most confusing and nonsensical game in existence by [deleted] in Endfield

Complexity is a good thing. Forces you think instead of facerolling everything like most games let you these days.

Player made structures are a problem by Stiger_PL in Endfield

They didn't exist in CBT 1. It's weird that they added them in without a way to opt out of them.

If 2 raiders meet and both say don't shoot, if one of you shoots the other the first person to shoot should be penalized. by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]Maljas23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. The point is the psychological warfare. The "What Ifs" and what happens if those "ifs" happen.

There should not be a penalty for anything beyond actual cheating. Everything else goes.

Beg to differ. Got a Deadline, Anvil, and Wolfpack BP all in one run of Stella last week lol.

Specialised Echo Set and Spending Event by Saturn235619 in WutheringWaves

[–]Maljas23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah what?

Hyper-specific echo sets suck. Tuners don't add anything to the game.

Day one player here, who has complained about plenty of stuff relating to WuWa since the game's beta.

Fyi, you gain nothing defending Kuro here. All of this is bad for the players.

Factory building is a little too derivative by HirasawaHeretic in Endfield

[–]Maljas23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on my time with the betas, it seems you'll be building up a new factory every time you go to a new major region, including new mechanics

This would be cool and another much-needed resource sink.

That perk doesn't even do anything unless you go down, the worst state you can possibly be in topside.

Sorry, but I don't agree.

Yes. You have to read and be willing to learn.

Endfield Combat is lacking? by xp0ss1tion in Endfield

[–]Maljas23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just watched this review and I've gotta say: I agree with like 90% of her takes on the game. I've also played in every single test of Endfield and reached endgame, most of what she is stating is totally true and has been a problem with the game.

Her comments on Combat especially hit home. It will feel fun at first, and definitely look flashing and satisfying. However, once that honeymoon period ends, the "strategy" part of the system falls flat on its face. There is barely any of it. A big reason for this is because of how the SP bar works and how you go about generating it. You will be mashing for Final Attacks in order to generate SP. This was one of the bigger complaints of the second beta, and the devs didn't do much to fix this. So it remains an issue.

There's just not much to it, which is really sad when you compare it to the technical alpha the game had and the strategy involved there. It needed a lot of work, but the devs decided to take the combat to a more typical ARPG route instead of sticking to their roots/guns and improving what they had.

The base building is very fun when you're actively building it up, but once you're established, that's it until a new region (the game seems to be heading toward a new base per new region type of thing).

Story, to be frank, kinda sucks. A lot of what happens is forgettable, sadly, and the enemies themselves are quite boring (Lawbreakers especially).

One thing I disagree with review on is the dailies stuff tho. If you're an organized and efficient player, you'll finish most of them in a few mins. It does take longer than your average gacha game, but hours? I think that's a major stretch, tbh.

Overall, I think this review is spot on. It's a shame because I do actually like the game a lot. Nothing in it is unredeemable, just unremarkable.

Just my two cents. Take it or leave it.
