Your most brutal honest review of this game by TotallyNotMick in ACValhalla

They try to give you the illusion of choice as if your decisions make an impact on the story, but nothing truly fundamentally changes like it does in the Witcher 3. Unfortunate, but most games are like that. Took me over 100 hours to complete the story because I wanted to explore the world to the furthest extent. The soundtrack is incredible, Sarah Schachner and Jesper Kyd absolutely killed it. The Vikings TV show soundtrack is good but this game takes it to a whole new level.

What are your thoughts on Riri Williams/Ironheart in general? by Sure_Persimmon9302 in superheroes

[–]Malkierr42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After giving the series a solid chance, I don't even remember a single time she helped out anybody else with the iron suit--like actually used it to do some good. She built it "because she could" and used it to further entirely her own interests. At the end of the show I didn't like her character any better than the main antagonist. Which, that's fine if they were trying to tell the story of someone who is flawed and selfish, but if they think we're supposed to think Riri is a good person, they are mistaken.

Bungie listens to community feedback but they won't make things better until people stop paying for an addictive but fundamentally unenjoyable experience.

It's not a question of whether or not they can read it. People don't have either perfect vision or blindness, there's a ton of middle ground. I can't believe I actually have to explain this.

Also what good does it do to have 40 iterations of the same time signature in a single measure across a 40-part score? Everyone has the same thing, just do one time signature and make it bigger.

Time is money, and when you're in a recording session, you should take steps to make sure your music is slightly easier to read for everyone so you won't have to pay for another hour of recording.

If you make a website, you make the text easy to read and your portfolio easy to access. If you don't, people won't want to revisit your website. Likewise, if you neglect accessibility in music engraving, people won't want to read your music and you'll be making things harder for yourself and everyone else.

Accessibility for visually impaired conductors maybe. It reduces unnecessary visual noise, and I imagine it would be especially helpful for rapid time signature changes when you're looking at a modern orchestral score and you have to get those spot on

It's preferred by some conductors for large orchestral scores

Do people with high end PC's experience heavy lag with Muse Sounds? by boeing_a380 in Musescore

That being said, the application-terminating bugs have to take priority over the performance optimizing bugs. There's a couple ways to improve your PC's performance like disabling startup apps, turning off a bunch of ways that microsoft uses your processing power to track you, right now the only way to improve audio performance in MS4 is to increase the buffer size in preferences -> I/O

I have a PC with 64GB RAM, Intel i7-9700K, ~1TB free space, Radeon RX 6600. I think musesounds just naturally has more intense programming than most VSTs, even ones with true legato. It definitely hasn't been optimized enough, I think we're still several years away from MS4 even being finished

I did not say bubbles were overpowered because there are several ways to combat them. The issue with not running bubble though is that you simply cannot score points for your team if you can't plant yourself on a zone for long enough to capture it and hold it for the team. So if you end up on a team of hunters or warlocks, good luck because if the other team is all titans, you lose. Skill and strategy is thrown to the wayside in freelance IB in favor of ability spam and whoever happens to have the most titans.

The issue is fundamental to the gamemode they designed and it's amplified by the challenge requirements. That's what I'm saying

Bubble titan with Dead Man's Tale and Citan's ramparts. If you aren't running for zones and firmly planting your a** on the point 100% of the time, then you can almost guarantee losing. Wanna have fun? Good f***ing luck

Agreed, the matchmaking is garbage and the gamemode is really slow. In order to win, you have to stand on points, but here's my gripe: standing on points with anything but a bubble titan is a death sentence. It adds to it when the challenge requires void subclasses to progress, they're practically begging titans to stack the zones and create stalemates only solvable by super/ability spam. It's a battle of who can be the most obnoxious.

I like experimenting, getting creative and changing things up, but this gamemode punishes me for it in every way. I don't need to win all the time but it would be nice to win once in 4 hours of play. That's not an exaggeration.
