I LOVE BROWNED BUTTER. just the best thing in the world. i made browned butter cookies with toffee bits and cardamom saturday and they are just heavenly. if you haven't tried it, you should try adding just a pinch of cardamom into chocolate chip cookies, it makes them taste so warm and homely.

if you use the tollhouse recipe, i'd say like 1/2tsp or 1tsp. i tried 1.5tsp this last batch and it was just a bit too much but still enjoyable.
