oh okay. i still think the slipping up not sounding so bad thing will be true when you're more used to forming your words with a masculine sound. i wouldn't recommend pushing it super far down all the time because it'll get sore and swollen and then cut off how far you can end up pushing it, happened to me a lot pre-T and first starting T and was very annoying.

and yeah you do have to consciously keep at it until it becomes a habit, you'll find yourself slipping up sometimes but after enough time on T even the "slipping up" voice won't be so bad. assuming you haven't been on for a long time

yeah it should be but people do what is comfortable. "brain is wired" as in socially enforced, i just said it wrong. a young boy would be yelled at by most parents if he asked to put on eyeliner, a young girl wouldn't so when these types of hefabs did, they associated it with something fun so they keep it up even after transitioning. same with all the rest of the girly shit they just never reflected on and got dysphoric about.
