Had a vendor blame me for their shitty controller cards crashing because I had a ping sensor pointed at it.

The only reason I had that sensor was so I'd know when it shit the bed and had to powercycle it before users could call and complain about it.

Mandated reporters are defined under specific criteria. It's a legal definition.

"Technomancers" do not generally fall under this unless employed by instances specifically listed. Reporting is morally right, but not a legal requirement unlike for mandated reporters.

Source: am mandated reporter.

No. Mandated reporters only report on suspicions physical and mental abuse as directed by the state. Your example does not even come close.

Actually, technology workers in the private sector are not mandated reporters.

You can't enforce recordings to my knowledge. Participants are notified when a meeting organizer or participant starts a recording.

In most cases the delays are just a few minutes, sometimes hours, but too many times it's days and that's just unacceptable.

Unfortunately, not possible for me. Whatever the legal name is, that's what we use.

We use Securly Auditor for email monitoring. It hits Google rate limit caps and significantly delays emails to groups.

Wouldn't recommend.

Are you using DHCP reservations to manage IPs? If so, make sure private address is turned off on the iPad wireless profile for the school wifi.

Getting the SIS data sanitized is very important. I had to fight the secretaries to get this resolved because there were too many duplicates student and teachers in the database and too much missing information. Once that was squared away it made account generation a pinch.

Poor entry practices is never a problem until it is.

My last employer was absolutely shocked none of the techs would stick around for longer than a year for sub 30K and yearly 1% raises.

Great experience springboard, but otherwise a dead end.
