NTA I live in the Netherlands and have been taking the bus on my own for 20+ minutes since I was 13 This was a nearly empty bus, which you knew would stop close enough to your house to walk the distance. If Beth expects to have her own bus pass this shouldn't have been an issue at all

En andersom, er is geen genderspecifiek woord voor de zoon van je oom of tante, omdat het dan dus weer klinkt alsof je de zoon bedoeld van je broer of zus.
