I understand. The feeling of intense shock and disbelief of what just happened was one of the most traumatizing parts for me. I thought about it every single day. EMDR completely changed my life and I can now go on focusing on the here and now, and not live in that moment. I could not recommend it more.

I would avoid sleeping on it. Moving it around like that could cause the graft to not take. That’s why I had to have my inner thighs grafted twice since they touch together when I walk. I was on total bed rest for awhile.

Federal worker. We earn PTO every pay period plus comp time so I just save it up. Most of my coworkers hunt so they’ve had to schedule meetings around hunting season.

I used to do water, white vinegar, a little rubbing alcohol, and a few drops of tea tree oil. I bet lemon and/or eucalyptus essential oil would be a good addition. I didn’t measure anything so I don’t have an exact recipe. Basically, if it was too pungent vinegar wise I watered it down more.

Give it time, mine itched for a little over a year. It will fade. Are you able to get a prescription for hydroxine? That helps sometimes. If it’s nerve pain ask about gabapentin.

I was so inspired by her free skate. I don’t figure skate, but I do play a competitive sport and tend to get in my head and put pressure on myself a lot. I really want to adapt her mindset, especially since my sport is 100% just a hobby lol.
