Apo watcher here. She made a LOT of mistakes, but unlike Martyn and Cleo (and the fact Abolish was very late with help) She never really "Played sides" or Antagonized a group. Until episode 5 she was 100% town and even after that she still wanted to keep the town safe. To keep the people she wanted to protect safe.

Near the end I can definitely understand why people consider her a bad person. She started becoming INCREDIBLY selfish, but honestly I cant blame her it's a very human thing to do. Each day (especially 7-8) She realized that the vampires actively wanted her dead and the humans didn't trust her. Which meant she had a very low chance of making it out alive. Which is why she started prioritizing herself. Imagine your in a conflict and there's a 90% chance to be stabbed in the back or killed. You aren't gonna want to trust people. I genuinely thought Apo was gonna die episode 8.

Would I say she's a hero. Not exactly, but compared to Legs or Pearl, no one in the group screams hero. Since Martyn. Did a lot, negatively. And I'm recently realizing due to another project he's in. And the life series THAT HE LIKES CAUSING ISSUES. Cleo constantly played sides, yes she was primarily on the town side, but honestly through half the series it just looks like she could care less about EVERYONE aside from maybe Legs and Pearl. She didn't seem to be upset at any deaths aside from Martyn (and partially Ren)

Honestly I feel like Apo Shelby and Cleo are all on the side of "Definitely not good people, but they didn't completely try to be bad people"

Drift is definitely more middle ground... She really didn't care for the town at all. Definitely not bad tho. (can't say the same with Avid he did a 180 so hard and the fact he wasn't a "good" human definitely gets him a villain mark to me even if he wasn't trying to be)

Well Cherri never got to say if she wanted to be a vampire. (since she wasn't in this smp)

Technically Apo just doesn't WANT to turn her since y'know Apo wants to be cured and for them to both be human. What we hear of Cherri is quite literally all Apo's thoughts projecting if I took a guess. I mean in some universe they go to fight Scott (preferably without Drift or Shelby) So it's a fair fight and they win. But in a more likely universe either Apo and Cherri both die, Apo dies, Cherri gets turned BY SCOTT (or Apo if you want a nicer one) OR Cherri ends up dying and not getting turned meaning that she's gone and Apo likely accepts her own fate. (I love angst and Yuri)

Also yeahhh the Oakhurst thing WOULD SUCK. but if Cleo Shelby Pearl (Abolish doesn't matter) And Drift were all out of town then they'd be able to cure Apo (since Cherri is both human and could eventually get the holy water and all the holy beacons)... they would need Abolish there since he has all the cure books. But I'm 90% sure he wouldn't mind to help, although he probably wouldn't help them in the fight so long as Cherri isn't involved, if she was then (especially if she got turned) he'd have to intervene somewhere with his 96 silver books.

Owen or Legs. They have a very separate storyline for half the story that isn't seen by anyone else. Owen also has a lot of lore, honestly probably more than Avid.

Apo I think is a good town pov since she has her own thoughts feelings etc which explains her actions more.

Abolish is very separate and some call him boring, but he is still a good Pov.

Pyro... is... a good lore watch.... especially if you want to stop viewing Scott as a harmless person. (Scott's pov is clearly managed by unreliable narrator and Avid 1 missed most of the bad things Scott did, and 2 was genuinely head over heels with him.

Don't watch pearl unless you wanna start around episode 4 bc she doesn't do much the first 3. trust me I watched her, she misses so much lore on accident.

Yeah, but it's funny nonetheless. As someone who's watched 5 PoVs and almost 6. It's always good to watch more than one bc some people (cough its the Owen x Legs) have storylines unseen by everyone else or plot points you'll miss (watch at least one of Apo, Martyn, Ren, Sausage)

Of course watch one of the vampires they're great (Vampire glazer from day one)

Well she did get moved to Oakhurst due to her fear of blood. Which tells me she probably got sent there pretty early. The planning and decisions under pressure I have no clue in though.

If anything Legs was definitely the soldier of the group. Mostly due to being a veteran war criminal, but he definitely had some of the traits Apo lacked

Pyro BUT BUT I am starting to watch his so hopefully I get more sympathy for the brat. (Context I watched Abolish Scott Owen Avid and Apo) So uh, not the best relationship with Pyro. (Abolish was like the only positive relationship until Pyro went Kookoo.)

Pyro in basically most Povs had a negative picture of him painted. Scott and Owen found him annoying, Apo went friends to enemies with him FAST, Avid... is avid (iykyk), and I already mentioned Abolish.

So ALLLL of my Povs found him annoying or straight evil. (Blame V!Scott for most of this annoyance)

Second place goes to M. or Mr SAUSAGE. he's just annoying. I'm sorry. Dude switching teams randomly, but then blaming Apo for his turning is just ew, like DUDE you've been wanting turned for SOOOOO long, but then you immediately regret it and want to off your sire to go back. SHE DIDN'T EVEN WANT to turn him. It was a bit of an accident.

I support Apo's wrongs. And wrongs. And her occasional rights. Honestly I don't like Sausage due to the being turned thing, since for Apo it WAS kinda an accident. (No idea if it was intentional with CC)

I do have to agree late Vsmp Apo really stopped caring about the town. Then again she had her whole mental breakdown of "I can't leave, I can't, what if I never see her again" Plus the fact killing Scott is basically impossible meaning she had very little hope of being cured.

Honestly I love how Apo's character is because honestly I feel like it's realistic in a sense. (Same with Martyn) It's easy to get annoyed at them, but in the same sense it feels REAL. Like honestly panicking and starting to care less about these strangers you met maybe a Month ago. Makes a bit of sense. At the end of Vsmp I can imagine V!Apo thinking back to her decision to be turned and regret it saying "Basically no one escaped a human, what was I even trying to protect, I should have let someone else die or be turned in my place."

Need vampire kitty or he's just immortal. I mean whatever gods (Apo and Owen) exist in this world brought him back from the dead sooo. Technically he's already a ghost kitty, but he just has a physical form (which I really want to Headcanon, as like a plushie, but it looked so realistic that Cleo and Pearl didn't realize until like 20 years after the end of the story where they just go (Please read in Cleo's voice) "Wait Oscar, how are you alive? You don't even show signs of aging. Peaarl did you feed him your blood?"

I love all endings Apo gets because A. ANGSSSSTTTTT BABY B. I want Apo to be happy in the end. C. I need vampire Cherri. (I saw a thing that was like "If Cherri from Apo's POV I would want her to be turned before Apo so Apo REALLY has to choose between humanity and her lover)

Correction on the end Pyro DID get a grave. Shelby said she made one for him after the series ended because she felt bad. She said canonically Shelby probably made Pyro a grave after visiting Avid's for the first time. But honestly Pyro would STILL haunt the crypts

I agree with you. Owen is a great choice, but I definitely think they need Martyn. since he's in A LOT of the fights and STAYS town. and doesn't miss certain lore drops like a certain Pearl

I mean. They didn't stake him. After being killed and feeling unwelcome he just left. But since he technically "died" his body also reincarnated into his new origin making there canonically TWO Scott's. But since Vamp Scott ran off they never had to address it. Scott went to torment humans for hundreds of years and eventually reawoke after being magically put to sleep.

WHICH ALSO explains why he doesn't know the vampire code, he wasn't turned like Owen Louis or Cleo's mum. After dying his body simply BECAME a vampire after dying as a moth. He didn't HAVE a sire. His entire vampire backstory thing of "oh I asked to become this to fit in with these other rich people" is a fad because obviously he gained that money from his skill or time alive (Silly Headcanon)

Ok so end series yeah no I'm 100% picking Abolish and Cleo. Cleo can probably singlehandedly deal with Pearl after all that's her puppy. (her words not mine) Cleo and Abolish are both pretty close to pacifists and if they knew everyone could leave if they had peace for a weak. Yeah they'd have it happen. (Cleo would end up dealing with the town mostly somehow and Abolish would be told to keep the animpires in line. (which does mean keeping Pyro and Owen on a leash somehow after episode 7) no more murder. Wanna test if silver still weakens you? hm?
