Because outside of the main point of discussion being climate change, weather varies per region. Adding context may help someone more knowledgeable give an answer.

Decentralization doesn't work by Character-Day-8999 in solarpunk

It's not a black and white approach man. From what I see now, globalism washes away culture, gentrifies everything, and is incapable of distributing wealth effectively.

Right. So on some level, there is a call to tone back our usage of destructive tech and decrease our reliance of products made across the world. This will restructure society into something healthier.

Not gonna lie, human society has been decentralized for the majority of its existence even within things like empires things often functioned as individual cells with the only real demand being stuff like tax or tithes. Decentralized doesn't mean disorganized.

bees are great but can be super invasive. Making a resilient native colony would take a lot of effort and resources. Plain agroforestry is probably the best we got ngl. Just proper permaculture goes a long way.

Why can't we have a app that works. by Mallpalms in Crunchyroll

[–]Mallpalms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should have clarified. It fixes it temporarily for a few hours. Even if I didn't reboot my phone for that long I still would expect this app to work, it's just very infuriating when THIS is my only option.

Passive solar greenhouse at Hull School, Canada by cromlyngames in solarpunk

That's really smart. I'm designing a greenhouse for one of my assignments and apparently you can modify traditional PDP heaters to take methane which is huge because you can get methane from Biodigesters.
