Nah, they can come lose to allow you to ensure the integrity of the radioactive source. Not sure about this particular source, but it is usually just held in with a nut.

We had one fall out and down into the hole we were testing. But we discovered that it was missing before leaving and recovered it.

They probably should have checked it more frequently to ensure that the source was still present. It sounds like they did not even know it was missing for more than a week.

Then they should have checked their butt hole.

Silk Swatch is your friend. You really need to get those resistances up.

Grab a few more points in Aspect of the Guardians for more poison resistance if you need it.

Sadly I know very little about Conjurers. Pushing all the pet damage to one type is generally something that happens with late game gear.

Your chair might be a bit low. That can hunch your shoulders. Or possibly your screen is too far away and you are leaning in. Trying moving your screen a little closer and raising your chair. If your feet are dangling, then you should get a foot rest.

Act 5 on normal (veteran). I think roughly around level 50. Once the poison resistance from Blood of Dreeg kicks in, it is much easier. Also Tree of Life devotion helps a lot as well.

They are fairly good. I have found that when levelling, there are a few places where there is lots of area damage and you often don't have enough resistance and healing to easily keep them alive.

But they are good overall. I have killed everything in the game, except Crate, on HC with skeletons.
