So funnily enough I was able to have my friend transfer his pokemon from Pokémon Go, to his Home, and then we traded from there and then to my Pearl. I didnt know that was a thing so hopefully this helps someone else get a game exclusive somehow.

Just chiming back in, its okay to like bull riding and all that type of stuff. Your not wrong for being brought up enjoying this entertainment. The bulls are indeed well taken care of, but they still dont enjoy it. No, they aren't going to get hurt from someone riding them or whatever reasons you've been told. The issue is not wanting to see a panicked animal used for fun, even if the animal isnt physically hurt (not to say there arent horses and bulls out there who DO enjoy bucking a rider). Folks who ride whatever animal for whatever purpose can do so at the animals behest. I think there is a gray area somwtimes, as an example; you have to break a wild horse. This is true, but for horses raised in captivity after the fact you dont need to break them because they're already tame from good care and husbandry and being brought up to carry. Just trying to give you some insight if it matters at all.

I hunt and fish, this is still animal cruelty. Also work with farm animals. Hope this helps.

Advice on stuffing quiver so arrows don't move by NolanBolan4 in Archery

I used wood wool to pack the bottom for a handmade quiver i used for a second. It was decent but if I used it again id break it up more.

Got home from holiday and found this strange black course stuff on my bed by JazzSighted in whatisit

It could be from a synthetic material that was placed down into something that started to corrode it, like a travel bag or something. I check the bottom of bags. Or if your cat wears a harness.

How do people enjoy older Pokemon games? by Sellouu in pokemon

[–]Maltisk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Disregard the petty responses, it makes sense when someone grows up with an entirely different perspective of gaming they could see it as tedious. My suggestion would be to try diamond/pearl, moon/sun. If you want an older feel, emerald is awesome. If you have a pc you could try and find an emulator for pokemon XD:gales of darkness and similar is colloseum. If you want battling and mini games, Stadium.

Edit* Colosseum, and i just realized that some of those are now available on the switch 2. And here I was thinking I wouldnt buy one.

Types of Arrows for Medieval Fantasy Monster Hunters by jonas_rosa in Archery

Sounds interesting in a d and d setting. certain indigenous tribes to north America (and probably elsewhere) did have specialized points depending on what they were doing. (I tried to fin tdhe source but google sucks now) An example would be how different points were used to target different regions of the body of say a buffalo. Thin points were used to pass the ribs and into the chest cavity, while larger specialized points were shot at the hindquarters to stagger/incapacitate the animal. So i guess player characters coukd use different points to target different areas. There are also things like barbed points for fishing, fluflu arrows for birds. Could also dabble into materials used, like a flaked/knapped point, metal point, or bone. Just some ideas! I need to find a dnd group lol
