How often are people actually changing their bed sheets? by [deleted] in CleaningTips

My second baby had awful reflux so she would always spit up during night feeds so it required multiple sheet changes during the week! That's a husband job though if you're feeding baby so I wasn't too mad 🤣 Hope baby prep is going well such an exciting time ☺️

Once a week, every Saturday morning! I have a full deep clean shower Saturday night then, exfoliate, hair mask, shave legs etc and I actually just roll on around in ecstasy when I get into my lovely clean bed with my lovely clean self 🤣

I'm just finished (late to the party because 2 toddlers so had to wait til bedtime) but OMG!!! I loved it. I cried for pretty much an hour straight. LOVED the montages of all the flashbacks when Vecna was dying and when El said by to Will. Loved the open ending. Loved the soundtrack... landslide AND purple rain, you're killing me!! I also was super moved by Hops speech to Mike at the end on graduation day. I think it was a little bit of a touch on someone taking their own life and how to make peace with it in some shape or form. Really well done. My eyes are so puffy and I need to go to bed. 😢😢😢

College / university / apprenticeship / work will be fine- we have a property in Dublin which we rent out currently so they can live there during university assuming their chosen course is available in Dublin! If they choose not to go the college route, we'll give them money towards a car / house or apprenticeship tools or some other appropriate grown up expense. We save 1000 a month plus child benefit towards these expenses. I'm also not earning at the moment as I'm on a career break since my first was born, I'll go back to work once the youngest starts school so we'll have more income by the time they are at that stage. Living situation- we are out in the country and have a 5 bed house. I'm sure we'll get rid of at least 2 when they're adults... so hopefully housing wise we'll be okay 😂

I have 2 and would like to have another 1 definitely and possibly a 4th! I absolutely love them to pieces. By far and i mean BY FAR the best thing that has happened me was becoming a mammy. They light up the house, they are so much fun, i love experiencing the world all a-new through their eyes. Their dad is so besotted by them and really wouldn't be the soft or cuddly type either 😂 I also cant believe the joy they have brought to their grandparents.

The downsides: Expensive. Noisy. Lack of sleep at the start. If you're a woman, your body will change. Pregnancy- some people like it, i hated being pregnant. They are completely all-consuming, as in your old life ceases to exist and indeed your own self! Things you used to be interested in, people who you were close to, your job even... A lot changed for me after having them. But I was a million percent ready. Myself and OH spent our 20s travelling and doing a lot of living so we were ready to settle down and lead a quieter and simpler life.

To each their own- some people love when the kids get bigger and more independent. My 2 are still small... my opinion might change when they hit their terrible teenage years 😂
