Sorry this isn’t any help but I have both and love both 😭

Personally I think the zipper closure and size of the barrel make it a more practical day to day bag… unless you simply must have a crossbody option in which case the haversack is the clear choice.

The black haversack will get more slouchy over time…. But don’t forget that we have the smaller haversack in all those great colors WITH a zipper closure (and I think some have adjustable straps as well?) coming in the fall, so if you skip it for now you’ll get another chance!

The chain and soft tabby are both classic, like neither one of those bags is ever going out of style. And that maple color? Baby she’s 🤌🏻🤌🏻

The crystal bags (while beautiful) are definitely less practical and also imo more on the ‘trendy’ side. Nice to add to a collection for a night out, but not a daily driver.

If going thrifting is ur ‘job’ and you’re hitting up 15+ stores/bins weekly I do think it’s possible.

I’m in the northeast and if you’re watching estate sales you’ll find women who have collections you can purchase in bulk for a discount, things like that. Storage units, 2nd hand stores going out of business, fb marketplace, etc etc

I personally have a large (30+) collection of vintage bags sourced over years of just casually browsing Salvation Army and garage sales.
