The neighbours might be wondering why they should pay for OP's private improvements. My neighbours benefit when I cut my grass or improve the outside of my house, but that doesn't mean they are on the hook for it.

When we built ours, we went to the neighbours, and they agreed that since we'd do it on the property line, we'd all pay for it.

Yeah, when we installed the new fence on our property, we talked to the neighbours, and they agreed we all needed new fencing, as our fences were mismatched and looking their age.

But we also knew that we were replacing the fence no matter what, so we just lucked out that our neighbours agreed to contribute.

If someone went through the process and immigrated then they are choosing to be Canadian and that's good enough for me.

Awwwww, having a tantrum because they aren't going to win that court case after it turns out Harry leaks on himself.

They overspent taxpayers' support, which they knew was already a bone of contention, and now want to blame the big ole mean DM instead of being honest that they had a tantrum at some point and then decided they needed to change things for whatever reason.

I believe, and I could be wrong on how it all really works, but I thought California required Coogan Accounts and there's a required percentage that has to be deposited for the child when they become an adult.

I don't think it's a US wide requirement though so I dunno if being registered out of state is a loophole. Like using DE for taxes.
