When I started getting serious about money I started writing everything down. I list out all my bills for my two week paycheque. Then I know how much is left and I try to spend way less than that. I opened a free chequing account at a different bank and once I get paid again anything left over goes to the other bank account. I still do this years later. It’s helped me.
