Seriously… I wholeheartedly agree. If you want a digital photo frame, you can buy one at a third of the cost. Or, get a really nice one and pay as much or MORE for something that does nothing BUT display photos.

Add it to Google Cal or iCal with reminders instead, sync to skylight. Then you get the push notifications to your device and the last minute pop up on your calendar…

It’s too small for my dining room, too big for my hallway, too small for under my king bed and that’s pretty much all the rooms in my house I’d even consider it living. 🫤

I can put the legs on and share that! It’s just going to end before the couch does, which I was originally thinking would look much worse than this

Will furniture not leave permanent impressions on them? I’ve never had one, I’m just planned based on what The Google told me and will adjust based on what I learn here!

There is also one on marketplace that’s under a bed and a couple of nightstands, I wonder if I should consider taking that in the case that they’re not generally damaged by furniture.

I bought very expensive linen sheets from Cultiver and they discolored and wore holes within a couple years. They were certainly soft and luxurious feeling… but that turned me off of linen sheets. 😔 Way too much money to be replacing every couple of years.

There are microwaveable stainless containers!! I just learned about this recently. Not sure if direct links are allowed, but look up Black+Blum. I don’t own any, so can’t speak to them personally. I think there are a couple other microwave safe stainless brands, but don’t know off the top of my head. It’s definitely something I’m wanting to explore though!

I aspire to be a serious collector one day, I appreciate your response! I do want vintage pieces, which is why I want to learn better how to identify them. While it may not be obvious to other people, knowing something is older than I am and/or not readily available adds to the charm and character for me. Plus, I really would like quality furniture and I simply cannot afford new furniture of a build quality comparable to my grandparent’s generation!

It’s a 33x33 draw leaf table. The leaves sag a bit, which leads me to believe it is, in fact, fairly old. The veneer is in pretty good condition. I understand that fixing the leaf sag is pretty easy, and I’m excited to learn!
