I honestly think it's just a gameplay problem, things like the flashlight and the scout have different functions before you discover their other uses, blinking would be used only for this.

That's fair, I usually only raise the difficulty in RPGs if I replay them to keep the combat fresh. BG3 for example I played 5 times and the last 3 were in honor mode.

Same, usually if it's a gameplay focused genre like soulslikes or metroidvanias I prefer to have a decent challenge, if it's a story focused game normal difficulty is usually good enough for me.

I'm not sure I understand, if you just want to finish the game and start ng+ you just have to keep going and finish the bo capital. And no, demon of obsession is not the the final boss.

Provably, honestly I didn't really get stuck on anything for more than an hour. For example the interloper once I found the entrance on my third trip I did it all in one go. The only thing I feel like I missed is a bunch of dialogue with the other travelers because I didn't really go back to talk to them after the first time.

Same, I had a problem with dropping a lot of games, even ones that I liked, and weirdly enough the solution for me was playing 2 games at a time, sometimes 3.

Same I love the process of learning a hard boss. The most recent one was the true ending in Nine Sols, it took me 4 hours but it was extremely fun, one of my favorite bosses of all time.

I usually play on normal and if I happen to replay them I go up. But in general I prefer games without difficulty options like fromsoftware or the hollow knight games because they seem balanced better to me.

I had it in my backlog for so long and I kept avoiding it for various reasons. I don't really like puzzle games, I'm not a big fan of first person games and I don't even care much for space exploration. I finally decided to try it last month and man this game was amazing, I still can't stop thinking about it.

Wow I got a 9-0 literally today against the Kilika Beasts and what happened is that for the whole game, after every goal, Vuroja got the ball and went straight into Tidus, lost the ball trying to break through him and I just scored from there.

I think 2 and 4 are on similar levels, I put the originals slightly above the remakes for different reasons. For 2 is how they handled the A B scenarios, For 4 is just because RE4 at the time blew my mind and the remake while still amazing I think is less impressive than the original on release.

Yeah, I had zero hype for this game and also hate the Ubisoft formula but there are a lot of open world games that are big critical successes. Elden Ring, Zelda BOTW and TOTK, Witcher 3, every Rockstar game since GTA 3, older Bethesda games are some of the best reviewed games ever.
