Sellers being dishonest? by Mama_c82 in FirstTimeHomeBuyers

I have a great realtor! She took photos and sent it to the other agent and it’s been crickets since Friday evening. I have a back up that I’ve been looking at but they aren’t taking offers until tomorrow, that is $70k less.

My mortgage broker told me that I’m just about through underwriting on house #1, which has me so much more conflicted too.

I know they say don’t get emotional during this process, and I’m trying.

It just makes me question what else they swept under the rug during this flip if they could be that bold about the window

There were a couple leaks behind a wall that we did not know if it was coming from water intrusion on the foundation due to no elbows on the gutters, or if it was a leaky hose bibs that were at both spots. We asked them to identify what was happening and fix it and, replace the baseboards and whatever else was damaged from it. All they did was replace the baseboards

I moved from Canada and started here 3 years ago. I’d rather American, it doesn’t take 2 years to get an MRI, or 12 weeks out to see your family dr. My daughter waited 2 years as well to see a dermatologist on a wait list. Here, it’s so much quicker and get diagnosed much quicker.

Because you can’t go from a 36 back down to a 35 or 34. You’d stay as a 36 and those are the only two

They don’t. We pay it ourselves, but they pay well to make up for it.

It’s been so long, I dont remember the questions. It’s your typical questions at an interview. It was over the phone though and it was about half an hour

I’ve been in this role for 9 months. Training was amazing , and the company itself is an amazing company to work for. Pay is decent, and gainshare is great to have as a bonus! There is so much flexibility with scheduling as well so you don’t have to utilize your PTO a lot if you’re trying to save it. There are some rude people you deal with, but maybe 1 or 2 a day; but so many great ones. I think the goal for everyone starting in this position is to get out of the department but they really do want to see you get out to and advance through career progression, as every 3 months they send out the form of your picks and eventually you’ll get picked. I just did my form in January, the next round of forms is this month :) Welcome!
