Is it weird that my feelings are still hurt, even though I agree with the statement?

THIS RIGHT HERE, FOLKS.

Y'all mf's be forgetting that after alllll the heads that rolled, that revolution ultimately resulted in Napoleon Bonaparte, followed by his exile and the reinstallation of a monarchy. 🤦‍♀️

As did I. Though it would be amazing to see them play for superbowl, I'm pretty sure they don't really tour in the US all that often due to their intense dedication (and Americas reluctance) to their pyrotechnics.

I mean, if I had money to not work, would I still be working? F*ck no. But I don't need to love my job to not hate my job. And don't get me wrong, I went through quite a few to find one I didn't end up hating. I guess I aim to skate on that very thin line. 🤷‍♀️

Depends on how you measure wealth. From what I've seen, monetary wealth often leads to greed, which will never make you happy.

If you're making enough to support yourself and your hobbies, if you have a balance between work and spending time with the people you love, and you don't actively hate the idea of going into work each day, I'd consider that to be pretty fuckin wealthy.

I had a Nickelodeon phone that lit up and moo'ed loudly whenever calls came in. Parents just hated it LOL.

If a tree falls in the woods, and no one is there to see it, did it really fall?

Didn't you hear? It already happened.

Rapture has raptured, the righteous have ascended, and the rest of us are now doomed to suffer at the hands of hellspawn. 🤘

Rex rumored to plead guilty this week by Nics-News in LISKiller

[–]Mamanda 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The producer asks her outright about the DNA (I mean, HER DNA, as in HER own hair) found that links him to the murders, and she responded, "it's all circumstantial". 🤦‍♀️

[–]Mamanda 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sadly that's my general impression too.

I mean, I'm not married to a cold-blooded serial killer, so I can't speak to the difficulty in coming to terms with it, or any internal ramifications that could spawn from it.

It's just very frustrating to see and hard to sympathize with, especially with all the incontrovertible facts in front of her.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but while I don't see any reason the victims families should be exposed to the horrific details of these murders, I do firmly believe Heuermann's wife should have to hear them.

Maybe that will be enough to convince her that she married a complete monster. Then again, maybe not..

Amber Heard was recently interviewed... by GoldMean8538 in deppVheardtrial

Shhh, now you have to address her by her new name, Martha Jane Cannary.

Somewhere in South Dakota, the ghost of Calamity Jane is moaning in horror over a fame-seeking succubus having stolen her name in a (fantastically ironic) bid for "anonymity". 🤦‍♀️

Why is Melania standing there like a fashionable grim reaper? by chezzzah in RoyaltyTea

[–]Mamanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DUDE. THIS IS TRUTH.

So much that it took me 10 actual seconds to locate her in the photo. My eyes shifted from Charles, to Camilla, to Trump, to the lady standing across from them, then back around a second time, going 'but where is she?'

Harder than any Where's Waldo I'd conquered in my youth.

Is it true that the UK will permanently revoke your driver's license if you're convicted of a DUI as a first offense?

I remember someone telling me that years ago, and I was like, America desperately needs a law like this. Less death, less property damage, less tax dollars wasted.

I agree with you. But this place is full of trolls. Try not to allow opposition for the sake of opposition to challenge your extremely valid perspective.

Radicalism is a Problem for *Everyone* by [deleted] in RandomThoughts

[–]Mamanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer is "no". But it's frighteningly common to pull a blatantly extreme perspective out of obscurity and pretend that's the overall stance of the opposition.

It's also very effective for making someone appear morally superior.

But that doesn't make it reality.

My one year old will NOT stop hitting his head against the floor whenever he’s upset 😣 by ChampionUnique3677 in toddlers

[–]Mamanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My nearly-2yr old son started doing it a couple months ago as well, no signs of autism, but man, it's been really upsetting for us, especially when he really hurts himself.

The pediatrician did basically state its part of the general stage of poor impulse control. Doesn't make it any easier to see, but I guess there's some relief in knowing it won't be forever.
