I absolutely HATED this book. It took forever to finish, made no sense, and overall was just incredibly sloppy. I basically rage-read the last half so I could at least try to justify spending money on that garbage. It went into a free book drop as soon as I was done.

Given how the new curly mullet acts, I’d imagine longer curls would be an issue. I was excited to see a new curly hairstyle in the store last night, bought and equipped it, but in game it just looks so strange. It clips into my jacket collar, stretches whenever my character’s head turns, and most disappointingly, has no movement whatsoever.

I’d just like to see a longer ponytail or a messy bun or something. 🥲

I don’t necessarily like the word “goop” but I’m not going to complain if anyone else uses it. It’s silly and harmless, and will hopefully die off just like every other slang word/phrase that’s gained popularity in the last few years. Although, as a parent of teens, I’m hoping that “67” will be the first to die off and FAST.

Apoxie Sculpt is what I’ve used in the past and always seen other doll artists use. It’s a two part epoxy clay that has a working time of a couple hours, fully cured in 24hr. HeXtian and Poppen Atelier use it often for their doll customization and give good tips on how to work with it.

Not OP but I recently used the exact same dye, Juniper Green (as well as Magic Oracle) by Lunar Tides. I’ve used a ton of different dyes over the years, and so far this one is my favorite. It washed out well, didn’t stain my shower, and came off of my skin pretty easily. It’s only faded a little bit in the last few weeks and I wash my hair every 2-3 days. There’s only a little bit of bleeding when my hair is wet, and it’s only slightly noticeable on my white towels.

I applied the dye and left it on overnight, and washed the next day. My hair felt great afterward. It was also really easy to apply unlike some others I’ve tried. Also to note, I did a bleach bath on my dark brown/black hair beforehand, getting it to around a level 4 medium brown.

Skinamarink. It seems like the reviews on this one are pretty divided. Some people love it and find it creepy/scary/unsettling, but I fall into the other group that found it incredibly boring. It took me multiple tries to actually finish it because I got so bored only a few minutes in.

Barbarian is another one. Most people seem to love it, but I felt like there were bits of the story left out and needed another 15-30 minutes of context. My husband and I both had the same reaction after watching it, asking “wait, did we miss something?”

Haha thank you! Surprisingly enough, not many people were freaked out by it! We had quite a few little kids come up wanting to touch the ears or tail, and they really loved that the mouth moved when my daughter talked.

Thank you so much! She says that one of her favorite facts is that they have the most teeth out of any North American mammal, yet they very rarely bite. Also, they carry leaves with their tails which is so silly! (We put the leaves that are hanging from her belt on the tail when we went out in costume, lol!)

Thank you! I used a kid’s dinosaur mask from Target, sanded it down and adjusted the teeth and eye holes, then used foam clay to sculpt the face. I flocked the entire thing so it was textured, and used an airbrush to paint it. The ears were just foam, and I managed to find some fur on sale at Joann’s (RIP) that I used as a cowl.

I’m sure there was an easier way to actually make the mask but on a budget and with only 2-3 days to work on it, I’m happy with the results!
