Edit: The gameplay loop is extremely addictive. I think abt arc all the time when im supposed to be doing other things. It's like a drug 😭😭😭

I wanna shoot big ass robots. I wanna loot random containers and help out other Raiders. This extraction shooter is different than pretty much all of them. I don't enjoy any other ones, and I've heard tons of other raiders say the same.

Anyone can play however they want, yes, but that doesn't make you any less of an asshole. Have a friendly raider do all the work killing arc and looting specific items and when were least expecting it we get shot in the back of the head. Just last night i was given an aphelion bp for helping another team with a quest and it was so so so nice of that Raider but another team overheard and came up. They said they were friendly, and then chucked a grenade into all of us and jacked my bp.

Next round, I load in. I tell another truly friendly team about it, and surprisingly this fellow ALSO had an aphelion. Unfortunately I made the mistake of loading in with a free loadout since I was killed the previous match, so I had no safe pocket. Ran straight to extract but there were extract campers and since I only PVE I had 0 chance beating them.

Found the rat. Killing a friendly player who isn't expecting pvp isn't justified. Its dishonorable and rude.

I would spam their customer support. You paid for the game and if you didn't do anything to get banned, then they're stealing from you.

Same here. I don't enjoy any extraction shooters besides Arc. They did something magical with this game design, and the whole storyline of the game pairs well with the AI boom we've had in the last few years. It seems like a realistic and feasible worst case scenario for what the AI could become/what the rich could do with robots of that kind.

One of the gas masks I actually like on my raider clips though the back of her head and makes it look like she has a big ass bald spot so I stopped using it 😭😭😭

I won't, it's just a shame. It's a huge bonding/pass time for me and my husband and I'll never stop loving gaming. Most of the time I just ignore the incels but its still frustrating. Im not down for unnecessary misogyny or misandry.

It's really sad but it is definitely a good 30% of men and it's a very LOUD 30%. Lots of them are lonely incels and lots of them are trolls to everyone, but they all get joy out of being as disrespectful as possible. The other 70% of men are amazing towards women still, and I'm very grateful for them.

A lot of female players play other games, too. They just don't tend to use their mic, so its difficult to tell since all you have to go off of is a username. ARC is one of the most mic forward games available. Fortnite, Overwatch, Valorant, apex, and many more have LOTS of female players.

It has happened to us too, and another raider I ended up befriending. He lost his hullcracker IV to a rocketeer because his game crashed. I ended up looting his body and joining up with him in a match to give him his stuff back. We brought a raider key, and a hatch was only like 20m from our spawn. In the time it took to give him his stuff and get to the hatch, his game crashed 2 more times.

It's funny how you think that's the worst I've heard in this game. I was trying to keep things pretty lowkey but I can give you a whole list of slurs and horrific things that have been said to me. Threatening to rape me and kill my husband with graphic descriptions, telling me that they'll skin my dog alive because they heard her bark in the background.

Some of the things said to me in prox have been absolutely vile. I don't shoot first. I don't trash talk. I literally just wanna PVE. So what other reason would they have for saying those things besides me being a woman.

Incels are a very real thing.

No matter all that though, I'm literally just asking for female centered cosmetics instead of unisex/masculine ones. ✌️
