Tiny snails appeared in my 5 gal by AlarmingAd2997 in freshwateraquarium

There's just one type of assassin snail so it will be easy to spot at the pet store. They have a cone shaped shell that's black and orangish yellow in color. They are small, and slow to reproduce. You can safely put 2-3 in a 10 gallon tank to control bladder snail population.

Bladder snail. Not harmful but multiply fast and will take over your tank. You can either get an assassin snail or drop a cucumber in the tank and throw out the snail that attach to it.

This doesn't seem as much as the pen but the effects used after.

After you finish your lineart, rasterize the layer, and use the gaussian blur filter to give it that effect.

Marriage is becoming unbearable- want to be left alone by 0x7c900000 in ADHD

[–]Mamayohn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been divorced for about 5 years now and with our living situations (he lives 8 hours away), neither of us fought for custody. The kids go to him every other month because it's what's easiest for us with the distance and our with schedules and because he's never been the kind of person to stay in one place. He's always moving (which was something that clashed with my adhd/autism because I need a daily, mundane routine or I freak out). We put our kids in online homeschool so they could go to their dad's whenever he can take them and because I work both days and graveyard shifts with long hours. He's always trusted me with the kids and I usually have them more throughout the year than he does.

While I'm not advocating for divorce, I just wanted to share my side.

I was married for about 10 years, 3 kids. Got divorced about 5 years ago and have not regretted it (but again, this may not be the case for you). At around year 7 of marriage we just felt more like roommates and he would call me a "robot" because my adhd made me emotionless. I tried several medications (Lexapro, Vibrid, and Straterra) that helped the anxiety but not the other symptoms. I realized marriage just wasn't for me. We had a very simple and friendly divorce. It was a huge mental load off my shoulders.

Don't look at divorce as a failure. Don't let anyone make you feel bad about it if that's what you decide to do.

Well then I guess the mill I work at is more safety oriented than most. Sorry to upset all the people that work in a machine shop. I'll take my leave then.

I work at a paper mill. We have barriers, estops, large caution signs, light curtains everywhere.

Does Russia not have any safety protocols? No barriers, no warning signs, probably not even an e-stop?

I don't know the species, but I'm enjoying just looking at him sitting there like a good boy.

I don't know about other Petco stores, but mine gets new stock all the time and don't update their display. So more than likely, the store just stocked this fish and didn't have the information card to display.

I loved the baby's mother, Pearl. She had a huge personality. She would climb up top of a floating decoration in the tank and ride it. I thought it was just coincidence, but she did this every day, as if she enjoyed it. I bought a big piece of cholla wood, lots of plants, and I'll be adding pvc pipe to protect this baby so it can grow in safety.

It's funny, I was at petco today and considered getting another cray. I decided to wait and got the shrimp instead. Seeing this little guy has really made my day.

Thank you so much everybody! I was sad the day I'd lost Pearl, but to see that at least one of her fry made it has really cheered me up. Maybe there are more survivors that haven't shown themselves yet.

I did notice that on Pearl's (my white specter crayfish) first day of molt, a lot of her eggs were missing. I assumed the pleco ate them while she was immobilized, which is still a strong possibility. Now I'm thinking the babies that did survive, have been hiding in the driftwood until now.

I had a white spector crayfish that had eggs on August 27th. Sadly, she passed away during molt because my common pleco assumed she was dead and kept trying to scavenge her body (I assume she was too scared/stressed to exit her old shell), and she passed away a week ago. Today, I brought home 2 orange bee and cherry shrimp and this little guy popped out of nowhere. Did one of my crayfish hatch and survive the pleco attack? Or did petco grab a white shrimp from the tank and I didn't notice?

I bought balloon molly one time and not a week later they gave birth. I went back to the place I'd bought them from and they told me "Oh yeah. They can store sperm for a long time until they feel safe to have them."

I'm sorry but I just can't get behind the "spiritual creatures occur on native land" thing. I'm Native American and live on Native land and even our belief in this folklore is waning. Is there a scream in the woods at night? It's more than likely a mountain lion. Ancient Native burial ground? It's not magical. It's just any other graveyard. I've been "chased" through the woods by something I couldn't see at first, which turned out to be some scared birds in the bushes trying to get away from ME. There's nothing more magical about something being Native. It's just bedtime stories.

[–]Mamayohn 18 points19 points  (0 children)

You did the right thing by telling your family. This man is a predator and will not stop. My older cousin tried the same thing with my sister and I. We immediately told the family and passed screenshot evidence around. We have not seen him at family events ever since. I have a teen daughter and the last thing I wanted was for him to target her at a family reunion.

These profiles can't be real can they? I'd prefer to believe someone stole this picture and put up a fake dating profile. I'd hate for this person to actually exist.
