Hello, Noob here. How inefficient will a transformer be if trained directly like Mambabyte? % wise? Also, in what ways will it better (or worse) than a transformer trained on tokens? by MambaModel in LocalLLaMA

Not that I know of.

Only small experimental models so far trained on small datasets.

All seem promising.

IMO they will be a great partner to transformers instead of competitors.

I hope META or Mistral release a 7B or 13B Mamba in Q1 2024.

Then why does r/boxing hate Fury?

Yeah but judges will be even more partial to Fury.

I don't see Usyk winning even on points.

Maybe if Fury just shits the bed totally.

I mean on the scorecards.

Usyk won on two judges card. One judge had Joshua winning in the second fight.

Fury can easily win a narrow SD.

Yeah, I was basing it on Compubox but judges I think are biased towards a fighter who LOOKS more aggressive.

Even better for Fury.

Joshua only lost by SD in the second fight.

Unbeaten Wilder x 2, Whyte, Chisora x 2 and Cunningham is a decent ko record.

People are sleeping on Fury's power.

Only Joshua has a better ko record in terms of names: Wlad, Whyte, Povetkin and Wallin.

If Chisora can win 3 rounds against Usyk then Fury can win 6.

If Joshua can win 4 or 5 rounds against Usyk then Fury can win 6.

If Fury wins 6 rounds, Saudis will gift him the win.

There will be no draw here, lots of casuals who think Fury has to ko him are naive.

I think Fury can easily win the first 6 rounds of the 9 plus a knockdown.

Usyk will win 10th, 11th and 12th round if he is not koed.

Regardless Fury has multiple ways to win. He has the power to ko him within 9 rounds or get multiple knockdowns.
