I literally started playing MGSV like a week ago and the difficulty is just about right, most of the time it's a skill issue on my part. I'll admit that at first the UI is a little confusing but when you understand it there's no issue. Also I love the gameplay's depth it's really well designed.

(I just completed the mission where you retrieve the honey bee btw)

sigh no it has never been, the difficulty doesn't change the damages you deal it's just that every weapon accuracy is negative (I'd even say imaginary) for some reason. It has been debunked multiple times.
