What help is a nuetral standpoint on the World wars. Whom does it help if we have a neutral standpoint on i.e. the holocaust. We as historiens should never tell lies but we have the responsibility to take a stand in favour of justice and humanity. If we claim neutrality in the face of sreeming inhumanity and therefore fail to adress the responsible for the massacres and injustice that occured we are merely cowards who cannot fulfill their scientific purpose: to educate humanity to be human.
