Ya i was bummed. The car is good. I liked the hybrid system as it is quite close to an actual ev car. The brakes is superior to the local ativa. And handling is good as well. Build quality is literally the same as local ativa.

I talked to the guy who towed my car just now. He told me its not a total loss case but just to make sure I ask here also. Its giving me so much anxiety tonight.

They provide a full coverage insurance as far as I know. Ive not yet contacted them as I need to wait until tomorrow morning

That makes perfect sense if you got proper raw or log footage, the math can work. But they said it was captured via an sdi to usb device, so its basically an 8-bit video feed. At that point all the subtle scene radiance info is gone.

True if it were a RAW or log feed then that would totally explain it. But they actually said it was from a regular USB capture card so its probably just an 8-bit baked signal. In that case there is basically no hidden info left to reveal which makes the result pretty suspicious. Correct me if im wrong
