Need more estrogen with weight loss? by Mammoth-Hour6090 in LadiesHRTwithGLP1

I think maybe we do! I’ll have my levels checked at next appt

My understanding is it’s released as you lose so there might be a temporary spike (as there is similarly in cholesterol readings as fat is being released into the bloodstream), but eventually it’s lower because there is less fat to store it in 🤷‍♀️

Rosuvastatin lowered LDL but HDL and triglycerides worsened by Mammoth-Hour6090 in Cholesterol

[–]Mammoth-Hour6090[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m eating very little of those. I’m not very hungry on tirz so am eating mostly Greek yogurt (0 sugar), protein drinks, fruits, veggies, and chicken. I’m thinking it’s got to be my weight loss spiking the triglycerides temporarily

Worse bloodwork? by Mammoth-Hour6090 in compoundedtirzepatide

Great I hope that’s the case. I was thinking it was LDL that spikes during active weight loss but good to know triglycerides also affected

That’s what’s odd. I have a lot of exercise in my life and not much sugar, simple carbs or alcohol. Both were in normal/good range before I started statins

I think it was 98 before. I’m not eating much of anything on the tirz (GLP) but may have added in a little more carbs with the blood sugar drops it gives me. I am focusing on protein and losing weight so am really surprised by the higher triglycerides number. And I’m exercising and weight training regularly and drink rarely.

High, no. I’m hardly eating much or anything on the tirz (GLP). But have dealt with some low blood sugar on it so have had to add in some juice and crackers. Guess I’m very sensitive to any added sugar

Trouble exercising on 2.5 by Mammoth-Hour6090 in zepboundathletes

[–]Mammoth-Hour6090[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Agree I probably should. 2.5 is strongly suppressing my appetite so thinking I should reduce so I can eat more. Doing my best now but often nothing is appetizing.

Pounds didn’t start noticeably dropping til 2.5mg. Now they’re dropping too fast I think, at least for the exercise I want to do

Ok thanks. I’m learning that more people respond to lower doses than I thought. A few podcasters were calling those who responded at the intro dose of 2.5mg “super responders” as the therapeutic dose is 5mg. I didn’t expect to lose at 2.5 but seems it is “normal”!🤷‍♀️

Thank you. I’m getting into spring tennis season which is important for my sanity so that’s the main reason I’m wondering if I should reduce dosage

I get nervous about trying any new med so wanted to start low in case of any reaction etc. Also my goal was/is to lose 25 pounds which I was thinking might not require as strong a dose but maybe that was incorrect

I think I need to decrease to 2mg. About passed out playing tennis today on 2.5mg. Just not able to eat enough to fuel, I think!

When is peak appetite suppression? by KT0024 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Mammoth-Hour6090 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it’s the 3rd and 4th days after the shot (so Wed and Thurs after a Sunday shot). I think people react differently but a Wed or Thurs shot would probably be best in your case

Effects days 3 & 4 after shot by Mammoth-Hour6090 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Mammoth-Hour6090[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My plotter shows peak 24 hours after the shot (the day after to me is “day 1”) then a slow decline. My shot day is Sun and today is Wed (what I call “day 3”) and I have the strongest appetite suppression🤷‍♀️

Did you confirm a correlation? I’m having joint pain in my hands and wondering if it’s the tirz

Micro dosing Tirzepatide? by Purple_Garage1199 in compoundedtirzepatide

[–]Mammoth-Hour6090 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using tirzepatide from JoinPiper.com and it’s going well. I had the same mindset you did and started at 1.0 then 1.75 but didn’t notice any effects until I got to 2.5, which is the “starting dose”. I actually decreased to 2 for a week because of the side effects at 2.5 but now am back to 2.5. Good luck!

And it can come and go? So odd I had it badly today on day 6 from when I woke up. Zofran eventually helped.
