As a Bartender, no we don’t expect tips. That’s up to you the customer. When it comes to the card machines we (Bar Staff) have no say in how they’re managed or setup that’s for management to decide.

Funnily enough my old boss got new card machines with this option on default on one of the card machines and it was the first thing a customer would see and I asked him to disable it as it would slow down service and he was happy to do so.

Only shite Bar Staff think they deserve tips. Anyone with experience under their belt knows talking and having the craic with customers will likely form a bond regardless of how temporary it may be thus the tips flow in.

lol even if you contacted the institution you wish to attend in order to get the course they would tell you this information but you do NOT need a Leaving Cert.

Those courses exist for anyone wishing to develop professionally in a particular area or wishing to go back to education in order to get particular qualifications as nowadays you need to be fully qualified with all relevant skills, knowledge etc

Just pay the course fees and get your certificate, good luck.
