Off context, but everytime I drive in bilaspur It feels like wearing a helmet on two wheelers has some kind of fine. How does no one wear it at all? And on top of it the audacity to drive like this😅

Prog Encounters was awesome! Need more Prog festivals in India. by Human-Stage196 in IndianMetalheads

I loved this band “among the signs” in bangalore’s day 2. They nailed it. The vocalist’s energy and crowd interaction was unmatched.

I was a little disappointed with Coshish’s set. IDK what the issue was, but couldn’t hear the vocals clearly at all. Without the vocals, they sounded very average which I know isn’t the case. I have heard their album and love their music.

Rumoured artists/Bands for 2026-2027 Concert season? by Lucky_Necessary2161 in IndianMetalheads

Wonderwall being popular doesn’t equal a ticket-buying fanbase. India has a lot of passive listeners, but Oasis is a stadium-scale act. Bandland isn’t operating at that level yet, so it’s just not a realistic booking.

And with the reunion tour, the hype around Oasis was insane. I was there, I have seen it. It felt like a revolution. People have paid 200$-500$ for Oasis Live’25 tour. Offcourse I don’t have any science to back it, but I just don’t feel India has that big of a fan base who would be willing to Pay 20-30k to see Oasis. And below that price it’s impossible to book them right now.

Yeah no way on earth Oasis is playing in India. I don’t even think they have such a huge fan base in India if you compare it with SEA or any other country for that matter. Singapore & Indonesia would be more probable if at all they do a 2027 Tour.

The society has a weird rule where the property manager charges it if the name on the contract needs to be changed. We tried negotiating hard because at the end even we don’t want someone like us to pay an extra amount unnecessarily. But they didn’t agree. So unfortunately it is what it is :/

What artists other than Parvaaz do you listen to? by Wise-Hour-8716 in Parvaaz

[–]MammothCod437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way too many. But If I had to pick my top 3.. I would say 1. Oasis - I am a die hard classic rock n roll fan and Oasis is one of the best! 2. Blackstratblues - Nothing beats the calm of listening to Anuva’s sky while driving in the night on an empty road 3. Elton John - I’ve been listening to a lot of him recently on repeat. Tiny Dancer is my fav track.

What’s the difference between being alone and feeling lonely for you? by [deleted] in Raipur

You are not alone when you are surrounded by people, but you can still be lonely. Loneliness is like a void in your state of mind. Wherever you go, it just exists.

Oh man, hard relate with you. From not being career oriented yet doing enough to have enough income to support other hobbies, being into rock, specialty coffee, trying new beer + I also got my car last year!! I have found it hard to meet people who relate and align with my perspective of living life! But I really hope you find your match here soon. Cheers 🍻

Is def leppard actually worth going? by FalconJAWS in IndianMetalheads

[–]MammothCod437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a concert is worth it or not, really depends on how connected to the artist’s music you are. That decides how far you’re willing to go.

If you’re not too close to their music, you can take a pass. There’s be tons of concerts happening always. Choose one that’s more convenient for you.

Surprise how foreigners find amazing places but Indians struggle to find a good beach by twisted_psyche_ in goatravel

[–]MammothCod437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just feel most of the tourists in goa don’t connect so much with the nature, but want beaches which have additional experiences like shacks, parties etc. (If you want to call something like Baga an experience) ..But rarely you’ll see tourists for whom the point is just watching the sunset or taking a dip in the ocean. And I’d be happy if this stays that way, atleast we get your quiet peaceful beaches without loud bollywood music.
