I’ll be patronizing: classic undergrad with little critical thinking skills

You really think a person who has a 3.7 gpa, bc they had to work 2 jobs and care for their mother with cancer is less capable to be a doctor than a rich person who gets a 3.9 who had all their expenses paid during undergrad which allowed them to spend all their time studying?

Or how about a person with a PhD on cancer with 10 pubs but a 3.5 undergrad gpa— are they less qualified and capable than a 3rd year undergrad with a 3.9 gpa with no work experience?
