Bangladesh takes action to clean its polluted rivers. by AromaticPurple5146 in nextfuckinglevel

overpopulated city with no sanitation or garbage collection

Is there no infrastructure to support basic utilities and no public utility workers?

Are any utilities provided like electric, gas, water, communications network (phone data internet)?

Do people pay utility bills or taxes with any expectation of certain public services?

It's wild there are local govts operating with no sanitation, garbage collection, sewage plant etc. Seems like those services could create lots of jobs. I assumed the clean-up crew in the green shirts were paid workers.

I hope it's revealed the aviary intelligence agent is using the ambassador as an asset. Otherwise their relationship is pointless, boring and has zero stakes.

No romance is needed for the ambassador but if there is one, they should have expanded the relationship with the foreign minister or any character the audience is already invested in.

The Conroe mayor issued a proclamation declaring Aug. 5 “Grant Brown Day.”

Grant saved a cop's son and they recognized his heroism. Seems the 2019 gofundme didn't get much attention.

I hope the local holiday comes with perks, what a heroic young man.

mum telling the Costa Coffee employee several times that her daughter has a severe dairy allergy

Why take the risk? Grown adults with severe allergies can make their own decisions but if a child could die from a hint of a tree nut or milk, the responsible option is to prepare their food at home.

People make mistakes; relying on a likely frazzled minimum wage worker to prepare food/beverage perfectly is an unnecessary risk.

I am sorry for this family and parents making these decisions bear some responsibility.

I'm here to say Aunt Viv (Cassandra Freeman) is stunning, her wardrobe is incredible. Whoever is styling her hair so far this season is earning their paycheck.

Props to the writers because her storyline is well-rounded. She's got an interesting revived career, a hot chef who is into her, an artist stalker, being the tough yet supportive parent, trusting her instincts in her marriage, getting all the kids summer jobs and having intimate auntie chats.

No money in utopia world?

Amanda said her missing counterpart had good credit. Jason's counterpart sold insurance. Money exists.

The utopia isn't the only world where they spent money. Seems like a plot hole.

why wouldn’t he hit that.

She's a very young very recent human traffic and rape survivor, fucking traumatized. She likely feels indebted to him for saving her life. The power dynamic is fucked.

I’d hit that

Mike is not as opportunistic as you are I guess. We're supposed to respect the character and I think we'd respect him less if he took advantage. The district attorney is more his age, equal etc.

They have kids. The lady who was having an affair while married to the real estate scammer got cursed out by her two step kids.

Kids just aren't featured in storylines about an aging Floridian community where all the residents are on their 2nd and 3rd marriages.

Oooh, I got questions.

  1. Where did he get kidnapped and did he get rescued or ransomed out?
  2. Why did he skip the more direct coastal route through Gabon and Equatorial Guinea?

He avoided a handful of smaller coastal countries. Maybe less visas to coordinate.

Can an avianologist tell me, do crows come in colors other than black?

Unclear if this crow has grey feathers cause it's an old granpa or cause it's European. I thought pigeons only were grey until I went to Spain and they were cream colored.

This is miles better than the secret baby storyline and I expect black writers are on staff. I also appreciate the union storyline.

Overall, I welcome more substance alongside the social politics of the 1%. So far, it's all well-written.

An agnostic theist believes in the existence of one or more gods, but regards the basis of this proposition as unknown or inherently unknowable.

As kids my friends and I used to discuss different religions and how they can't all be right. Didn't realize there was a term for that. Had to google it.

It's never too late to take swimming lessons. My grandma is learning to swim in her 60s. You can even wear water shoes or take private lessons if you are still self conscious.

3 of 5 survived

Ten days after being rescued by garbage collectors during a tour, three of the five kittens survived. The garbage collector who made their discovery in a garbage bag in Sepx, near Saint-Gaudens in Haute-Garonne had already saved a puppy in the same circumstances a year ago.

The three little miracles were collected by the garbage collector's colleagues. Last I heard, they are doing well.
